About: With over 30 years of hands-on experience as a pet owner, trainer, and sitter, I provide dependable and compassionate care for animals of all kinds. I’ve fostered and bottle-raised everything from kittens to calves, and I’m experienced with senior care and administering medications. I pride myself on being trustworthy, responsible, and truly in tune with each animal’s individual needs. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so I offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your booking needs, including weekends, holidays, and even same day or last-minute requests. Safety, Trust & Environment I am fully insured and provide both in-home care at clients’ homes—whether for overnight stays or daytime drop-ins—as well as boarding in our home. Our property includes a secure fenced yard for safe potty breaks and playtime, cozy kennels for restful sleep, and of course, plenty of belly rubs and affection. I prioritize each pet’s comfort, routine, and safety, whether they’re staying with me or I’m coming to them.

I am home full-time in a large spacious apartment near the panhandle/golden gate park, with a large gated back yard. Your dog will have all of the attention and room it needs to play (inside or out), take a nap on the couch, etc. I'm a dog lover through-and through. Your best friend will feel like he/she is at her home away from home when she stays with me. I'm happy to accommodate your dogs needs, whether it's medication, longer walks in the park, etc. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!

“Jessica is so sweet, she connected with Jaspie quickly. Took him to the beach and was sweet to honor my request for beach pics! The pics were amazing! And I can tell by Jaspie's expressions he loves her!! Totally recommend her!”

“Jawharrah took great care of our fur babies and home. She was very communicative and sent many updates as well as photos. We definitely plan on utilizing her services for future trips.”

“Mari stepped up and helped us out for an unexpected trip back home. She went above and beyond to look after our girls and took extra care with our shy girl, Emi, and won her over in the end. Our youngest girl 10 months unexpectedly started her first cycle and Mari cared for her and took care of her extra needs. ( we bought washable diapers to help during that time) We have already recommended her to our neighbors and look forward to using her again. Thank you so much Mari!”

“Tiffany was fantastic! She was flexible and incredibly helpful when my plans changed several times last minute. I got lots of pictures of Charley and that gave me piece of mind. She was responsive and took Charley on a couple adventures. I will definitely book Tiffany again for Charley!”

“Very nice and super accommodating! It was my first time leaving my two working dogs to be watched by someone and she did an amazing job! She was super flexible and was great with the dogs. She sent me photos and updates after every visit/walk. I will definitely look for her to watch my dogs again!”

About: I grew up with a dog throughout my childhood and miss him every day! I had a roommate with a dog recently for about a year as well and loved having a fur baby again. I recently got married and moved in with my husband, and I’m missing having a dog to walk and take care of! I’m a freelance French translator and interpreter, so my schedule is very flexible! I typically work from home and tend to have a lot of available in the afternoons, but can often assist in the morning as well, with advance notice. I’m not able to care for pets in my home at this time, as I’m not allowed to have dogs in my rental, unfortunately! I wish I could!

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter and walker is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all shapes and sizes. I’ve cared for everything from tiny puppies to extra-large dogs, as well as senior pets, special needs dogs (including those with doggie dementia), and cats. I’m skilled in administering medications and providing the patience and care that senior or special needs pets require. My background extends beyond dogs—I’ve also raised chickens, quail, guinea pigs, and rabbits, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior and needs. With a lifetime of animal care and a deep commitment to their well-being, I offer a level of experience and love that you and your pets can trust. Pet sitting and care fit seamlessly into my daily life because animals have always been a central part of who I am. As a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to farm animals, I find joy and fulfillment in making sure they are happy and well-cared for. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate the time and attention each pet deserves, whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company. Pet care isn’t just a job for me—it’s a passion that aligns perfectly with my love for animals and my desire to make their lives better. I provide excellence in pet care by treating every client’s home and pet as if they were my own. Safety is my top priority, and I follow each pet owner’s instructions to the letter, ensuring routines are maintained and each pet’s unique needs are met. I respect my clients’ homes, keeping spaces clean and secure, and I always prioritize open communication to provide updates and peace of mind. My daily experience caring for my own pets gives me a deep understanding of the love, patience, and attention animals need, ensuring that every pet in my care feels safe, loved, and well-cared for while their owners are away.

About: New to this site yet for friends and employers, I've done housesitting and pet sitting for years. I've been vetted, background checked and currently on another popular sitting site. I've just relocated back to the area of Monterey, California where I grew up. I love to be out hiking and walking so if your pet needs exercise and the peace that comes with it, I'm your gal! I usually take myself out walking twice a day. Unless your animal needs special care and can't be active, I believe pets should be active because it makes them feel better, same as us. I'm flexible in my work and don't have the sort of hours that would keep me away from your pet for too long. Regular feeding, bathroom breaks, playing and petting are my top priorities. I do a lot of photography and photos of animals are one of my faves. Your pet could be the next Lassie! Safety is also a top priority. I can either drop in on your pet or do overnight stays, weekly stays, etc. I keep pets safe, doors and windows locked, and the place exactly as you left it. I've traveled for years using Airbnb and have great reviews here for you to peruse – thank you hosts!

“Valery is such an amazing person! Our dog takes a while to warm up to people, but him and Valery were best buddies in no time! I was nervous leaving our fur baby while we traveled internationally, but Valery ensured that our pup was well taken care of! We loved receiving daily pictures and videos of our dog and hearing from our neighbors about how loving and sweet Valery was with him! I highly recommend Valery for your pet sitting needs!!!”

About: I love dogs and would love to have a furry friend keep me company! I grew up with a dog and now days I love watching my “nephew” Yukon who is a golden retriever lab mix! I work from home full time and can hang out with your dog at home! I love taking a walk or short hike during my lunch break! I don’t have a fenced yard so they would mostly hang out with me indoors or outside with me if the weather is nice. Spacious area downstairs that the dog can run and play.

“Christine was great with my giant dog Ham who is over 100lbs. She took him on several walks a day and he was a happy boy when I got home. I could tell he misses her. I will definitely use Christine for future pet sitting. She also left my house in great shape.”

About: I started training full time as a professional animal caretaker 7 years ago. I initially started as a professional kennel/boarding attendant which gradually transitioned into the veterinary field. 2 years ago I refocused my career goals but have continued as a private care taker in my spare time. I have 7 years of experience administering needed medication and following specific dietary needs in both cats and dogs. My experience has allowed me to work with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Please allow me the opportunity to provide you with reliable service that is guaranteed to exceed your expectations and ensure your pet is comfortable while you're away. I spent 5 years as a full time kennel attendant and veterinary technician assistant in a fast paced animal hospital. I currently maintain a regular client list of ~20 pets (cats/dogs) that are trusted to be left in my care for short and long term visits. My experience allows me to properly monitor each pet in my care to look out for early signs of potential problems. I recognize that stress or pain can present differently for each pet I care for and pride myself in my ability to analyze your pets behavior and body language to gage their comfort levels. I no longer work in the veterinary field full time, but I often care for many of my neighbors/friends pets if they need grooming or a scheduled care taker. I strive to provide top notch care and provide clients a detailed daily report on pets activity, behavior insights, eating habits, and stress levels. My experience in animal care has provided essential knowledge needed to handle all temperament levels, ages, and breeds. I understand that I must adapt my care approach to accommodate individual pets to ensure reduced stress levels throughout the visit. As a pet parent to a border collie mix, I recognize that mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise to ensure pet is stimulated physically and emotionally during our time together. I often include video and picture updates of your pet in my care package as I know many of my clients appreciate this insight into their pets day away from them.

I like to maintain myself busy and responsible but also have fun when taking care of cute furry friends. With school I am a lot more flexible with talking care of loved ones. “I couldn’t recommend a better pet sitter than Lisa to care for my dog & cat as she’s so amazing! She is dependable, punctual and follows my directions if I need her to feed my pets. I completely trust her in my home & with my fur babies. Lisa really shows my pets extra love & attention each visit. I look forward to booking her as I know my pets are in trustworthy hands while I’m gone.”

“Our Bella LOVES Molly and so do we. She is a pleasure to work with. She has been very flexible with our dog’s needs and always goes above and beyond.”

John T.
“One of my favorite things about John is how much of a dog person he is. Not only because I get tagged in all the best dog memes but also because he takes THE BEST care of my dog Ginger. She's a 5 year old boxer who means the whole world to me. I get anxiety about leaving her but thankfully John has been such a wonderful doggo sitter for me whenever I do. No matter how old he gets you can always find him sprawled out on the floor with his childhood dogs giving them hugs and kisses. A true dog lover right there! When John has Ginger he loves to takes her for walks (he's super outdoorsy), gives her a ton of love, is patient with her, makes sure she is safe and is an overall responsible dog sitter. I really would not trust just anyone with my Ginger girl but John is a definite exception whom I highly recommend!”

Andrea M.
“Andrea pet sat for my two dogs (Shiba Inu and Bischon Cockapoo) for years - she was timely, responsive, and my dogs always loved seeing her! She took excellent care of these dogs who were not the best on leash. I would trust Andrea with any future pet.”

Amanda B.
“I can’t say enough good things about Manda and the care she provided for my sweet senior dachshund, Doo. She has been diagnosed with with doggie dementia and requires extra-special attention due to her condition. She’s a walking hazard-prone to falling down stairs, getting “stuck” behind furniture and even risking falls from balconies. Naturally, I was very anxious about leaving her with anyone. From the moment we had our meet and greet, Manda’s calm and reassuring energy put me at ease. She went above and beyond to ensure her safety, keeping such a close and attentive eye on her the entire time. Knowing she is safe and cared for in her hands gives me such peace of mind. I am so incredibly grateful to have found her and will absolutely be reaching out to her for all of my future pet care needs!”

Heather P.
“I am thankful to have met Heather because she is my kind of person. She is clean, healthy, organized, energetic, low drama, and delightful to be with. She is trustworthy, responsible, and dependable. What a relief to have someone like her to care for our home and cat while we were on vacation. She also transported us to the airport. On return our house was cleaner that it was when we left. We have become good friends and I would recommend her services to anyone. This world needs more house/pet-sitters like her.”
