“We’ve been looking for a regular sitter (in-home boarding) for our social, people-oriented senior toy poodle, and we started with a meet and greet with Wanessa and her family. As it was a holiday weekend, they already had several dogs (most of them regular clients) staying with them. Our little pup, who usually is nervous in new situations, didn’t hesitate to dash into their home and join the fun. He played happily with several big dogs while Wanessa and her husband chatted with us for 40 minutes. Their home is clean, light-filled and spacious with plenty of room for pups to wander and relax while still being supervised. Wanessa and her family are warm, kind and vivacious, and our little Koo took to them and the positive energy of the house immediately. We did a day care session a couple of days ago for Koo (9 hours) and he did great - happily went off without a single whimper, whine or bark (so unusual for him!) We picked him up later, relaxed, happy and tired! We received videos and photos throughout the day; apparently he spent all day tailing Wanessa until two other pups showed up and then he played with them. We plan to do an overnight next week to help Koo get acclimated slowly before leaving him for longer stretches. We’re grateful to have found Wanessa and her family. They are a thoughtful, loving and active family and we think it will be a safe and loving home-away-from-home pack for our happy little Koo.”

She responds extremely quickly to all messages and was very friendly and happy to have Bruiser in her house, which was beautiful and very clean. We could tell she had prepared to watch Bruiser and listened to all of our notes and instructions for him. Bruiser can sometimes be antsy when in a new place or with strangers, but he seemed more at home with Athena than at our hotel! We are more than happy with Bruiser’s stay with Athena and will absolutely use her again next time we bring Bruiser to Carmel!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life.I can take your dog to parks or to the rivers to swim. At the park we can play with your dogs toys. I like to maintain myself busy and responsible but also have fun when taking care of cute furry friends. With school I am a lot more flexible with talking care of loved ones. I have a spacious fenced yard and plenty of shade for your friend. We have a deck as well. Their is a park and river near by so we can go on walks and play. I have a blanket as well for your friend.
