I am available for sitting and boarding anytime of the week and weekend ! About My Home Welcome! I live in a modern high-rise apartment on the 4th floor in a pet-friendly community. Our complex features a spacious dog park and plenty of safe walking paths, making it a great environment for dogs to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors. My apartment has a secure, fenced-in balcony that is pet-safe, so your furry friend can relax safely while staying with me. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I’ll carefully follow all of your instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and any special requests. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Friends and family still regularly trust me to take care and look after their favorite family members. I have only had big dogs but also am requested to care for a friend's corgi when they are away. I have experience in training my own dogs and working with dogs of all sizes and stages of life. I currently work full-time but work a fairly flexible schedule. I am available early mornings to take your favorite family member on a walk, or in the afternoons if your pup prefers. When I first meet you and your pup I always tend to take extensive notes and ask questions as needed. Ensuring your favorite family members' safety is my utmost priority. It is my goal to ensure that your pup is cared for and spoiled always. Each pup is unique and has their own set of needs and I am willing and able to listen and abide by all of them to ensure that they are healthy and safe for many years to come.
“Tessa is an amazing addition to our weekly routine. She is very communicative and reliable. My dog is very shy and slow to warm, but he has been easily won over by Tessa’s care and consistency. I do not have to worry if my dog is safe or able to go outside, due to Tessa’s drop-in services.”

“Yuki was great with walking my corgi Kaiju. She was punctual and completed all of our requested tasks. She was communicative, sending us photos and text updates. I highly recommend her, and look forward to having her walk Kaiju again in the future!”

About: I’m the person that tries to find the pet at the party. I’ve had experience with both dogs and cats for several years! I’m happy to help you with your child whether it’s taking a walk to the park, needing a potty break, or just overall attention while you’re away for the holidays! I'm currently doing school online and work full time in person! I won’t be available from 9AM-6PM weekdays, but can do overnights! I’m fully available on weekends to provide undivided attention to your little one! If you have any special requirements for your pet such as administering medicine, feeding, and all of the above, I will make sure to provide that based on your request! Other examples: Do they get along with other animals (dogs/cats)? Do they require going for a run?
About: I think a little backstory helps: every pet I have is a rescue! Whether from the streets, a shelter, or the "animal distribution network," I seem to be the person random animals flock to for help. My home includes two dogs (a senior Australian Shepherd/Pit/Chow mix and a 3-year-old Chiweenie mix), two rescued cats living in the lap of luxury, and a bearded dragon I saved from under a bush last year. My 5 babies all adore each other and love a giant cuddle party! I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was 6 years old in multi-pet households, so I’m comfortable with all ages, breeds, and life stages. My Approach to Care: - Patient & Animal-Led: I let pets guide our interactions and get comfortable with me at their own pace. - Enriching Walks: I completely believe in letting dogs take their time to get all their sniffs in, because walks are their time! - Full Service & Light Grooming: I’m happy to wipe paws/ears, brush coats, brush teeth, and handle any cleanups, accidents, or normal pet debris so your home stays fresh. Mostly, I just genuinely love spending time with animals and would be honored to care for yours! I currently have the entire summer off, so I am incredibly flexible schedule-wise (including weekends) and can work with you on timing and availability. I'm just happy to help! Animals set the pace in my care. Whether meeting a new dog or visiting a shy cat, I never force interactions. I read animal body language carefully, giving pets space to approach on their own timeline so they feel completely safe and secure in my presence. Safety First on Walks & Visits: - Enriching & Secure Walks: Dogs are kept securely on-leash at all times. Walks are centered around their comfort and sniffing enrichment, avoiding hot pavement during summer heat and maintaining safe distances from unfamiliar dogs or hazards. - In-Home Security: I am meticulous about home safety, ensuring doors, gates, and windows are completely secure before and after every visit. - Emergency Preparedness: Having rescued and cared for animals with special health needs (including senior pets and kittens recovering from illness), I am calm under pressure, observant of any subtle changes in behavior or health, and quick to act if an issue ever arises. I care for your home with the same respect I treat my own multi-pet household. During visits, I handle all feeding, fresh water resets, and litter box or accident cleanups without hesitation. I'm also happy to wipe muddy paws, sweep up scattered litter, or run a quick vacuum over high-traffic entryways so you always return home to happy pets and a fresh space.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have spent the last 10+ years caring for family and friends’ pets, from feeding, walking, playing, and just keeping them happy and comfortable. I treat every dog like my own, paying close attention to their routines, quirks, and needs so owners can relax knowing their pet is in good hands. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention it deserves. Whether it’s a walk during the day, an overnight stay, or regular visits throughout the week, I can work around your needs. I’m happy to discuss a routine that fits your pet’s specific requirements. I’m comfortable caring for pets in either my home or yours, whatever makes your pet most comfortable. My home has a fully fenced yard, giving pets plenty of safe space to run and play outside. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, medication, and routines, and I always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort in either setting.

He is high energy but he's a happy boy and has the best temperament. For housesitting, please be advised that I will be bringing Memo to stay with me at your home. If you want to see more of my cutie, check out his bio. I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds, from playful puppies who need extra attention and playtime to older dogs who just need a slower pace and a little extra patience. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs of all sizes. That includes 'pullers' and/or dog reactive from my experience walking dogs at shelters. Here are a few things I’m happy to help with: • Walks, playtime, and activities that keep your dog active and engaged • Puppy guidance and reinforcement of training routines if requested • Patient care for senior dogs or pets with special needs (including administering medications) • Flexible scheduling when possible • Pick up/Drop off within 5 miles of my house. (Main & Civic Center in Santa Ana) • Grooming (only the basics: bathing, drying, brushing.) Price depends on size and length of fur. Sorry, no nail trims. • Dependable care with the same love and attention I give my own dog. (Snuggling always included!) I'd love to schedule a meet-and-greet to meet you and your pet! I do project based work from home so I'm present and not tied down to a rigid schedule which means I have the time and flexibility to give your pet attention when needed. I have a Rat Terrier who gets a long with all dogs, he loves to play but is pretty respectful of dogs who are not into it. Dogs have free rein of my house. I spend a good amount of time with them outside in the yard, they are never let out without supervision.
About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs (mastiffs, labs, and basset hounds) since I was a kid and have regularly cat-sit for family members and friends since I was 14. I work full time in a corporate office so I’m available outside the hours of 8:30a-5:30p (most days) to check up on your pets. I’m more than happy to make drop in visits on my lunch if I can! I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible when I’m there! Treating your pet how you normally treat them is super important to me, and if for some reason I don’t think I’d be able to support your pet in their needs I’ll let you know right away so you can find a more appropriate sitter.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Portola Park
Aurora is the best! I recently moved to the area and needed someone to care for my guy and she quickly established herself as someone I can count on and that my cat loves. I’ve already booked her again. I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond with visit reports and cleaning.

I had a last minute request for drop-in kitty feeding - with a complicated entry into the house - Shannan accepted the responsibility and went above expectations, she was exceptionally caring to Bella and had zero issues figuring out how to provide service. I have been a Rover sitter myself for 5 years, I can honestly say now I understand the value of asking for help and receiving peace of mind and the effort a sitter gives to care for pets. I HIGHLY recommend Shannan🌸 she is top notch as a Rover sitter!

Eunice was amazing with our cats and took such good care of them. We were looking for someone with experience administering subq fluids for our senior cat and she handled it so effortlessly. Communicative, responsible, and kind! I would not hesitate to book her again. Thank you so much Eunice!!!

Faith took excellent care of Raiken when he needed to be checked on while I was at work for the day. She was a great communicator and paid extra attention to ask about any specific needs for the day. I feel super comfortable leaving my pets in Faith’s care and will definitely have her come again! It’s clear Faith is a huge animal lover and very responsible which is exactly what you want when leaving your animals in someone else’s care. Thank you Faith!
Nao always takes wonderful care of our cat. This was our second time booking with her, and once again she didn't miss a single detail. She kept us updated with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos throughout our trip. Thanks to Nao, our cat Sasha was happy and well cared for, which allowed us to travel with complete peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Nao again. Thank you so much, Nao! 🐱💕

Carissa was great! She was nice enough to drop by before the first booking to get familiar with the property and grab the key. She was attentive to our requests and clearly loves animals so was more than willing to give them the care they need. The updates were descriptive and attached photos were lovely to see. Appreciated her service and will definitely book again if we need a sitter!
