About: I am a caring and responsible pet caretaker. A pet is a family member; therefore, making sure they are fed appropriately, walked accordingly, and given the attention they deserve is top priority. I have had three dogs of my own, all rescued, so knowing how to gain trust and provide a comforting environment is my specialty. I also have two cats that have enriched my world as well! I know how to handle both anxious and energetic dogs; each needs the same amount of care and attention, yet knowing how to provide this in a unique and effective manner is important to me. I treat all pets with respect and provide the care and service they need, and I hope to provide this care for your animals as well! Compared to other sitters, my schedule is pretty flexible as I do not work a regular 9 to 5! I am back in school to pivot my career; therefore, I am available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings! (depending on the day and class schedule) At this time, I cannot offer pet accommodations in my own home. With my own pets, I stick to a daily routine for my labradoodle (Dora) and two cats (Candy and Tilo). Regular feeding times, regular walks, and of course, keeping their designated areas clean and tidy!

About: I love walking and with a dog it's even better! I enjoy being outside and spending time with dogs. I will treat your dog as if it were my own, give him/her special attention, and a walk/home while you are away. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I enjoy spending time with other people's dogs, taking them for walks, and giving your dog love and attention. I have had experience walking dogs and taking care of dogs throughout my life. I have 2 rescue dogs are both beagles. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and love taking them for hikes in the woods, on trails in state parks, and around the neighborhood. I am available for all the services Rover offers. I can board/watch your dogs at my home. I would love to meet you and your dog! I am a teacher and love coming home to my 2 dogs. We spend a lot of time outside and go for two walks a day. I have a fenced in backyard that is about a 1/2 of an acre. Our fence is 6 feet high. I have two dogs myself, so we have lots of treats and toys as well as extra dog beds. I am also a foster for the Humane Society, Midwest BREW, and Fluffy Dog Wellness & Rescue. I have fostered over 20 dogs in my home of all different breeds and ages. I find it really rewarding!

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone. With over 15 years of experience dog sitting/walking for friends and clients I understand the importance of trusting someone with your pet. You, as well as your pet, need someone you feel comfortable with. I have dog sat for a range of dogs from a 70 pound lab to a 5 pound chihuahua. I also have experience with a wide range of ages from puppies to senior dogs. I am involved in a rescue that works with senior and special need pups and am currently fostering one of the rescue dogs. I also have one dog of my own so I know the value of having someone watch your pets as if they were their own. As a person who loves animals, I am reminded every day the reason these four legged creatures become such an important part of our family. I have a somewhat flexible schedule so am available for stop in visits and walks as well as house sitting. I am willing to work with your schedule. I currently am not taking pets in my home. I am willing to come over for walks or potty breaks at your house if needed.

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I have been an avid dog lover for as long as I can remember, and love pups of all shapes, sizes, and age. While living in Chicago I began walking a handful of dogs for a smaller walking/boarding company whose focus was mainly helping disabled or sick pet owners. This really piqued my interest in helping others take care of their 4 legged family members. From there I began volunteering at adoption and rescue centers through PAWS, where I mainly walked and cared for post-op dogs and cats. While working at PAWS was hardly glamorous, it was incredibly rewarding returning healthy animals back to their families. I understand how difficult and stressful it can get to be sure your pup is properly cared for, and would love to help you out as much as I can! My schedule is flexible to meet your needs. I can walk your pup in mornings and/or afternoons Monday through Friday. Weekend availability possible upon request. Our home has baby gates to keep furry friends on the first floor. The backyard is not fully enclosed, but we have a staked leash available.

About: Ever since I can remember I have helped take care of pets from dogs to piranha's. I have a love for all types of animals especially dogs. I love taking walks outdoors and bringing them on walks, because it's their favorite time of the day. I am currently a full-time student at Concordia, and I love getting the chance and an excuse to be outdoors. Walking dogs gives me the perfect excuse and I also get to have a fun time. I have a fenced in yard back home where my dog can run freely and get to play catch during my free time. I also live by a trail, so I would occasionally go on walking on the trail.

About: I've had cats and dogs most of my childhood and adult life. It brings me great joy loving and caring for them. I've cared for my aunt's and uncles animals while they lived on their farm. I've had alot of experience with different personalities and some were great and some were simply learning experiences! I currently have American Red Cross Certificate for Pet Safety and First Aid. About: I currently have no pets. I’ve had dogs most of my life and always preferred to groom them myself. Had a couple of bad experiences when I had a dog and took them to a professional groomer. As a very active person, I enjoy the company of dogs and spoiling them when they are in my care. It makes me smile to see how excited the dogs are when they know they are coming to stay with me! I have a fenced in yard, I will take your dog with me on local errands to stores that allow dogs. I make homemade dog treats which are a huge hit with all my neighborhood dogs as well! They stop by my gate when they are being walked by to see if I’m around. Always makes my day! I work from home 2 days a week so dogs are in my care 24/7. I live in a dog friendly community and dogs love to explore the open areas in my neighborhood. I do not have a fenced in yard in my new home so walks every 2 hours is great for both the dogs and myself, or taking them to a local fenced in dog park.
