“Karen was great with my dogs. Truly a blessing that I found her since I travel so often. I like that she only watches one families dog at a time. Thank you Karen my doggies I think are depressed today!! :)”

“Edra is an amazing pet sitter. She is well-experienced, loving, attentive, and communicative. I received daily pics/video and comments on jameson’s wellbeing. She played with him and comforted him through a thunderstorm which he fears. I highly recommend her for your pets’ care.”

About: Not only have I grown up with dogs, I have also worked in the animal industry for over 7 years. I have 6+ years of experience at animal boarding and care facilities alongside 6 months of experience with an animal rescue agency. In addition, I have been trained in pet nutrition, health, allergens, enrichment, and overall pet retail products in the holistic and natural pet care sector for 10 months. I also bravely raised and trained my own dog while attending college. I graduated with a degree in business management in December 2023 with the long-term goal to manage an animal rescue nonprofit someday! Pet care is always part of my daily routine at home and I made it my life at work too. Shoot me a message and find out if I’m available! Schedule varies but typically flexible :) All animals are treated with love and respect as if they are my own. I have always had a passion for animal welfare and proper treatment. All rules noted by owners will be followed as well.

About: I have had pets my whole life: dogs, cats, turtles, fish and even hermit crabs. Also, my dog Molly had 9 puppies when I was in 3rd grade, so I am familiar with caring for pregnant dogs as well as young puppies. I also have experience taking care of older dogs and I can administer medication orally and I can also administer injected medication. My grandpas dog unfortunately had kidney failure so I used to administer saline fluid into her bloodstream once every few days for the remainder of her life in order to flush out toxins that she could not get rid of naturally. Additionally, I have taken care of all different kinds of pets including birds and rabbits. If i’m taking care of your loved ones, I would treat them as my own and take their health and safety into careful consideration. You can trust me to always look after their best interests as well as yours when taking care of your pets and/or home! ❤️ I just graduated from the University of South Carolina, and I am currently doing floral arrangements for weddings as well as waitressing at Wren Bistro in downtown Beaufort. My schedule is typically different every week, however I can always be flexible with my availability, and I will work with you to ensure the best care for your pets! :) 🩷 I would treat your pet as if it was my own! Normally when i’m spending time with my dog Phish, I love to take him on walks, to the dog park, or to pretty places around town or in nature. He also loves to shop for treats/toys. Additionally, we love to cuddle and watch TV together at night; he sleeps with me in my bed too. If necessary I give him frequent baths and clean his ears bi-weekly, so for your pet I would do the same! It all depends on your preferences or your pet’s specific needs, which i’m happy to accommodate!! 🥰

“Alexandra was the perfect host for my pups. She has a nice, fenced backyard where my "senior" dogs were able to run around and play. She sent photos and kept me updated on their stay. I would definitely book with this host again.”

About: Hi! I’m Sharon—a lifelong animal lover with both personal and professional experience caring for a wide range of species, from beloved pets to wild animals in rehab. I’ve worked over 5 years in animal care at a small zoo and nature center, and also volunteered for animal rescues. I’ve raised and released orphaned baby squirrels, cared for injured wildlife, and spent countless hours making animals feel safe, understood, and loved. At home, I’ve lived with just about every type of pet: dogs, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, horses, chickens—even a pig! I’m confident with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and I bring calm, kindness, and attentiveness to every interaction. Professional Animal Care Experience Includes: 🐶 Dogs & cats 🐰 Rabbits, rodents, and small mammals 🐍 Snakes, turtles, and frogs 🦜 Birds—including raptors and a macaw 🐎 Horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, and chickens 🦝 Wildlife like raccoons, deer, foxes, opossum, bobcat, prairie dogs, armadillo, and even alligators Whether your pet is shy or social, high-energy or mellow, I’ll meet them where they are and give them the care and attention they need to feel secure while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your animal family! Currently working from home which allows me a very flexible schedule. Available for visits, walks, boarding in my home or overnight care in your home. Care according to your pets needs following their regular schedule. Additional services may include bathing, grooming, training, and cleaning (habitat, barn, yard) for additional fee.

About: I grew up on a family farm in Platte, South Dakota with plenty of opportunities to not only take care of three family dogs but also a variety of different pets. I am currently a stay at home dog dad. There should be no problems taking in a furry friend during most times on the weekdays and weekends. I love being active with pets. Playing fetch, going on walks and visiting dog parks. When pets are staying with us, we consider all pets to be family.

About: I’ve always loved animals and I was fortunate enough to get my first dog when I was 15. She was the best thing that ever happened to me and I had a blast teaching her a ton of fun tricks. After that, I was also lucky to get a job at a grooming salon that I enjoyed immensely for 3 years. Throughout that time, I learned so much about a dog’s body language and behaviors. Finally, after serving in the Marine Corps for 4 years, I decided to get a job as a veterinary assistant in May of 2023. It’s been an amazing opportunity and I’ve learned an immense amount in the past couple years. I have 2 pups of my own and so pet care is apart of the daily household functions. My husband and I do work full time so I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and after work we spend time in our fenced yard and exercise for at least an hour. Lastly, we finish the night with one more potty break and quick play time before bed. I would be able to fit in a couple more potty breaks if need be. My dogs are very friendly and more than happy to keep your pup company while you’re away! Although, we have a fully fenced and private yard to allow the dogs to let off some steam. Also, our dogs are crate trained so I can easily crate your dog while we’re away as well or leave them be if they’re house trained.

About: I have taken care of puppies of relatives and acquaintances approximately between 3-2 years, they have trusted that I will treat them with all the love in the world, give them their food, take them out to do their needs, bathe them, give them their medications and play with them. I have also taken care of kittens, played with them, given them food and water, cleaned their litter box. My daily routine is to go for a walk with my baby two or three times a day depending on the dog's schedule to go out, my routine is very calm and I disagree with the dog I am taking care of and my baby. I live in an apartment complex which has a special park just for dogs and green areas to be able to spend it quietly mind, I give him a prize that is allowed by the owner, and I take him out to do his needs. When I take care of the dog at the owner's house I do a quiet routine, walk him to stretch and go to the bathroom, return home to rest and refresh, give him a reward that the owner agrees to use, play a little with the dog and give him a last walk to do his needs, if the owner needs me to give him dinner I do it with pleasure.

She has always been super friendly and great with people as well as animals! She is one of the sweetest, most caring people I have ever met honestly and has always loved her own pets like children. I think she would do wonderfully working for Rover and taking care of pets. I would certainly trust her to care for my pets or even my kids someday, if i have kids.”

“Sharon is one of the most amazing pet sitters I have ever had. I have had some very high maintenance dogs over the years and Sharon handled them all beautifully like she was a dog whisperer. I'm pretty sure some of my dogs loved her more than me. I had one bulldog in particular that I couldn't trust anyone else to stay with, but I knew Sharon could handle him without issue. Love her!”
