I've had cats, dogs, and reptiles, varying in size and needs, all throughout my life. I've pet-sat for family, friends, and friends of friends. When caring for pets in a client's home, I also make sure their environment stays clean and secure, follow any specific instructions, administer routine medications if needed, and keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I tailor my care to meet their individual needs, whether they have lots of energy, prefer quiet companionship, or need a little extra patience and reassurance.

About: I’m lucky enough to have an open schedule, which means your pet will get my full, undivided attention without being left alone for long stretches of time. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. My love playing with animals, chilling with them, and just watching them do what they do. One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are on the shy or anxious side. I know how stressful it can be for them when their owners are away, so I’m incredibly patient. I know how to read their body language, give them the space they need, and just let them open up to me at their own pace until they feel completely safe. I am currently on summer break from college and take care of my own dogs at home. I make sure to give them everything they need from walks to play to just sitting around together. My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. While I'm in a client's home, I will treat it with total respect and keep everything secure. I will make sure that all doors and gates are locked securely every time I leave your home, and I always keep dogs on a leash during walks. Because I have experience with everything from energetic dogs and cats to smaller pets like guinea pigs, I’m very aware of safety and choking hazards, like making sure small items or dangerous foods are out of reach.

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a special bond with animals. I was always surrounded by furry friends, learning to care for them. I have a unique connection with cats and dog. They have always been my loyal companions and playful buddies. I can sense when something’s off with an animal and respond with care. Friends and family call me an animal whisperer. I can’t wait to meet your cats and dogs, love them, and treat them like my own! 💝 I’m currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to love and care for your pets. Even when I am employed, I always make it a priority to take care of your pets. This isn’t just a side job for me, this is my passion. This is not applicable as I do not currently take clients in my home. However for your home, my goal is safety and peace of mind for you. I will make sure gates are secured, leashes are buckled and doors are closed to prevent any sort of escapes.

About: I have been around pets since I was a child and have had my own dog for 6 years and a cat for 2.5 years now. I got my dog as a puppy, so I am more than willing to work with pets of any age. I recently finished my second masters degree and work full time in healthcare 3 days/week but can provide care before work, after work, and on my days off. Having 4 days/week off is great and allows me flexibility with my schedule. I love allowing pets to be part of the family, adventure outside often, and allow walks to be the dogs walk and not my walk.

My experience includes administering medicine and insulin shots to old pets, and taking them to vet visits. I care for their needs, especially when it comes to nutrition and medicine. I love brushing their hair, and have given some doggie hair cuts if need be.
