“Chelsea watched my 14 year old dog for a weekend while I was away. I think he enjoyed it so much I have never seen him act better! Highly recommend if you have an older dog or one that needs a bit more attention!”

“Mary Jane and her partner were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were both very very communicative in sending pictures and updates daily. They treated my pup like their own, truly! Do not hesitate to book with them!!”

“Danielle was so awesome, she arranged a meet up with us beforehand so our dog would know her and her lovely dogs when he went for his sleepover! Danielle sent us messages and photos of Austin's stay which made us feel so happy 😊 Austin cant wait for his next sleepover at Danielle's!”

“She did a great job with Anubis. She was able to take him under extremely short notice and it went as smooth as if I booked a week in advanced. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Tawny was super awesome. I felt 100% about leaving Nisa with her. I always got a sweet picture and update at the end of the day and knew Nisa was happy at Tawny’s doggie paradise.”

“Laura & her home are both so warm and friendly, from the moment I dropped Cheeto off I knew he was in good hands. I left my cat with Laura for 5 nights while I was out of town and got updates on how he was getting acclimated to the environment and what he was up to with pictures every day. She’s so good with animals and introducing them to one another (with regards to my cat meeting her cats), and even gave me some helpful cat care tips. Know that if you leave your fur baby with her, they’ll definitely be cared for and loved in your absence. I could tell Cheeto really liked her and was a bit bummed when we left; he got a vacation just as much as I did. :) I’ll definitely be looking for Laura’s availability next time I need a cat sitter again.”

“We are so grateful for the care Matthew and Ellie gave to our dog Marla. This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous. Matthew and Ellie let us come to their home to see everything and how more the would feel at their place. They are very open and respectful. Marla had a wonderful time they provided daily pictures. They were very responsive to any messages. They were in constant communication with us and were also very flexible when we needed to extend marvelous care. We are very pleased with how everything went and will definitely be using them again in the future. I especially appreciated how they seemed to not just see this as a job, but actually enjoyed having Marla as part of their family.”

“Victoria is very nice and I really appreciated that she met me and our pup prior to the date of the stay. She sent me plenty of photos and I could tell that our pup was made to feel like she was "home". No complaints at all about the services we received!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. I am a proud mom of a shih tzu and and a little sassy cat. I have volunteered for animal rescues and would love to watch your fur babies. I work a corporate job 9-5 and I take my lunch to walk my dog. The weekends are usually chill and spent hanging out with my family. I have a fenced in front yard which is shared by the building and a small Shih Tzu to keep your dog company. My schedule is flexible and I can hang out with your pet most of the day/night. We have 3 bedrooms and can give your pet their own space if needed
“Absolutely the BEST! Our dog was treated like family and loved. Amazing communication, received pictures and updates while we were away. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.”

“Where a dog can be a dog! Becky has the ideal environment for dogs. My favorite thing is that my dog got to be with other dogs all the time and I received multiple videos and pictures that were refreshingly transparent. Our meet and greet impressed upon me Becky’s passion for canines and I could relax while my dog was in her capable hands.”

About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animal companions for 20 years! I worked on a Farmed Animal sanctuary and took care of chickens, goats, turkeys, cows, and pigs. I have had cats and dogs my whole life and specialize in both senior care and puppies. I’m great at training pups and love to be active. If your dog needs a good hike, I’m your guy! I’m currently working the early morning shift and have plenty of time after work to care for your babies. I also have weekends off so go on that day trip you always wanted to and leave it to me. My dogs are my children. I take them hiking, swimming, walking, and/or to the dog park at least once a day. I’m just starting out as a personal trainer so if your dog needs a jog around the block I can do that.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life — my family has always had both dogs and cats of all sizes, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I had 3 cats at once growing up in my moms house as well! I’ve helped with feeding, walks, playtime, training basics, grooming, and giving lots of love and attention. I have an equal amount of love when it comes to cats and dogs! I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes — from small cats and puppies to large, energetic dogs. Whether it’s a calm cuddle session or a long walk for exercise, I enjoy adapting to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine since I am available most of the week. I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings on those days, and I can adjust to your pet’s schedule to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I do live in an apartment, but I also have a safe balcony that your pets can get fresh air and relax on if they like being outside often! I always treat pets with the same love and attention as if they were my own. I focus on keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable in their home environment. Whether that means following their feeding routine, giving them bathroom breaks, or just spending extra time playing and cuddling, I make sure they feel cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs on and off for a side job for 2 years. I’m very actice and love taking my own dogs on walks. I love dogs and cats, i’m very well organized and I will make sure your animal is loved, well taken care of and comfortable! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to spend quality time caring for your pets! I’m happy to discuss scheduling, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine, whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding, or overnight care. My goal is to make sure your pets receive plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! Since I have two dogs of my own who are not comfortable around other dogs, I provide pet-sitting services in your home rather than mine. This allows your pets to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their usual routines. I’ll always follow your instructions, respect your home, and make sure your pets receive plenty of love, attention, and responsible care while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family members are in caring hands!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have extensive experience pet sitting both dogs and cats. I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare, giving me hands-on experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments. I also have experience administering medecine and providing special diets. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love animals and taking care of them comes naturally to me. Since I’m currently on summer break from college, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or just providing companionship, I’m happy to make pet care a regular part of my routine. I have a fence and two dogs to keep your dog company while pet sitting at my house, and I always make sure to follow instructions and provide updates. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, play, and comfort while their owners are away. When in a client's home, I make sure to keep the house tidy.
“Gianna and her family were wonderful! I was anxious about leaving my 4 3/4 month old, and not completely potty trained, puppy, Bronte, after only having her for a month after adopting, but I had an out of town emergency. She assured me she wouldn’t be upset about accidents , “That’s what carpet cleaners are for!” Well, the first night was really rough with Bronte absolutely refusing the crate and multiple accidents. Gianna sent me a sweet picture of Bronte and one of her dogs sleeping with her son in the couch. Things improved after that, and Bronte settled in, feeing at home. She got lots of love from the whole family. She still had some accidents (yes, I tipped her!), but she was obviously happy in the photos I got. I can’t thank Gianna enough. My first time using Rover and I hit the jackpot!”

“Emily is a great person to have to watch your pet. She took extremely great care of our dog, Shiloh, going above and beyond what is "normally" expected from sitters. I would, and will, choose her for a pet sitter anytime. If there was a rating system for her services, she would get the highest rating from myself. I am very pleased with Emily.”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
