I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.

“"Perfect" is the one word I would use for my doggie daycare interaction with Catherine! This was Maves first anything without one of use being with her. She is a highly active 7 month old puppy. Catherine was so great with her. I really felt my pupper was safe and being well taken care of. Updates of photos and text during the day and answered immediately when I wanted an additional update. Then when we got there for her second day, Mave was SUPER excited to be there again! That is when I knew this was the “Perfect” place for her to stay on daytrips or any other time I need. “We cannot recommend Kim enough! Firstly, she was willing to take us last minute and was very accommodating and communicative (with pics!). When we first got there we did a slow introduction with the other dogs there and left after everyone felt confident the dogs would get along. You can tell Kim loves what she does, we felt really comfortable and happy knowing we were leaving Goose in Kim’s capable hands. Goose came back to us tired (in the best way possible) and happy. About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. I love them and have tons of professional experience to give your fur-baby the best experience possible. Please feel free to message or call whenever needed and I am more then happy to accommodate ANYTHING you or your sweet pet needs. I have lots of time on my hands, currently we start our mornings with a good meal and a long walk along our neighborhood. We will head to the house for a quick nap or so that our older dogs and puppies can rest. We then head to either the local state park or a dog park for some new stimulation. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. All of our animals are continuously monitored, I work part-time, and we also have cameras in the house. Feel free to request photos or videos of your baby at any point in time.

We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). “Nichole and her family are awesome! This was the first time I took my dog to spend a day somewhere that wasn’t with my family or friends. Needless to say, Nichole and her family are HUGE animal lovers! I was very nervous because I wasn’t sure how my dog would handle being around other dogs. Nichole allowed me and my dog over for a meet and greet first which was very helpful. During the day, Nichole sent me photos of my fur baby which helped me feel less anxious. She is very flexible of when you pick up and drop off and does a great job of dividing up her home to ensure your dog has space from others if needed. When I finally returned home with my fur baby, he knocked out and slept for 12 hours (that rarely happens) and is already back to napping this morning. I will most definitely be bringing Niko back!”

I can largely work around your needs and be available accordingly, AM or PM and overnight if needed. About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. I am a college student at Ivy Tech, my schedule is a little empty this semester, and my part time job starts later in my day. I am always in town and don’t have any trips planned. I keep an open schedule! I am able to take your pets on walks! As long as it’s not raining I would love to take your little ones on walks. I keep animals close when a vehicle is near. I’ll treat them as my own!
About: From day 1 I have been the BIGGEST dog lover 🐶🥰 From having some of my own, to taking care of my friends and family’s dog, to play dates with other family pets. I absolutely adore having a built in best friend at your ankles day to day and always there to snuggle and play. What a dream to be able to care for other peoples babies! About: I’m 18 years old and just graduated High school I have grown up around dogs my whole life, including 2 bulldogs, a mastiff, and a boxer. Two and a half years ago I got my own Australian Shepherd, and caring for him has given me even more hands on experience. I have pet sat before and truly loved it. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away with texts/ pictures.

About: I've had animals my entire life. Dogs and cats! I take care of humans in the ER, and want to take care of my preferred kind of babies (fur babies) on my days off! I'm an RN! So I am working 3-4 shifts a week which leaves plenty of time to take care of fur babies on my days off! I will take care of my clients fur babies in ways that are preferred by the client! If that's stopping in for play time, snuggles, walks, etc! I can do it all!
About: I started taking care of animals when I was eight. Since then, I have cared for guinea pigs, rabbits, a tarantula, fish, chickens, cows, and of course cats and dogs of various ages. Typically, I will set up a phone call or meet and greet before officially booking. This helps to make sure owners and I are have the same expectations and to meet your adorable pets. I am a full time college student, so my availability is flexible. I am available to check in or stay overnight with your pets. Walking is also something I love to do for exercise or a study break. I currently live in an apartment with a roommate's cat that scares easily with other animals. Therefore, I will only sit in owner homes. I look forward to having a proper place to make a loving dog a home at. When I watch pets in other homes, I like to follow whatever regimen the owner has in place. I have found animals adapt to a new person in their territory when they stick to a routine and are in a familiar place.

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.
