About: Hi! I’m Jenna, a lifelong Bloomingtonian and best friend to every dog I’ve ever met! I am a stay-at-home mom to a preschooler and I also help manage a national non-profit rescue for French Bulldogs. Simply put-dogs are my people! I have always deeply connected with dogs since I was a kid. There is no other creature like a dog, and the unconditional love they give is unlike anything else. Before I was a mom, my dogs were my babies. After I became a mom, my dogs were still my babies. I have deeply loved many bulldogs in my lifetime, and as such am very adept to handling brachycephalic breeds and their particular needs. (Though it should be noted I tend to regular-nosed breeds with the same loving care!) I am very comfortable caring for animals with moderate medical needs, those with disabilities, seniors, those requiring medication administration, etc. I have cared for hospice dogs, dietary restrictions, Mega-esophagus, Colitis, deafness and total blindness. You could say that special needs are my specialty. I have over 20 years of experience helping folks take care of their animal babies, from Pugs to Cane Corsos, several kitties and even some reptiles in between. I understand that all our animals are precious and I will take care of them all with the same attention and protectiveness I give my own. When you cannot be with them, you don’t want to worry about them. I get that. I cannot replace you but I can guarantee your baby will be loved, safe and a little spoiled until you get back. I am new to Rover, but very experienced. I am happy to do drop-ins, daycare or walks-whatever you need. As a dog mom who knows you have lots of choices and only want the best for your little buddies, I can promise that you can trust me with your babies. I currently work for a dog rescue remotely and am otherwise a stay-at-home-mom to a preschooler. I also provide daily care for one resident special needs rescue French Bulldog. I care for pets in the way that is safest for them, regardless of where that is. In my home, dogs are under my constant watch. We live far from the road (about .15 miles) but pets will be kept leashed beside me outdoors since my yard is not fenced .

About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animal companions for 20 years! I worked on a Farmed Animal sanctuary and took care of chickens, goats, turkeys, cows, and pigs. I have had cats and dogs my whole life and specialize in both senior care and puppies. I’m great at training pups and love to be active. If your dog needs a good hike, I’m your guy! I’m currently working the early morning shift and have plenty of time after work to care for your babies. I also have weekends off so go on that day trip you always wanted to and leave it to me. My dogs are my children. I take them hiking, swimming, walking, and/or to the dog park at least once a day. I’m just starting out as a personal trainer so if your dog needs a jog around the block I can do that.

She sent photos throughout my pup's stay, and my pup was relaxed and happy in every photo. I think my dog wanted to live with Katherine after her stay. She was SO HAPPY when I brought her home. She was looking at me like "thank you so much for this vacation, mom" -- seriously. Katherine went far beyond making sure my dog was fed and safe. She was spending quality time with her, playing, and treating her with kindness and lots of affection. Leaving a dog with someone new can be a bit stressful, Katherine immediately made me felt at ease and I knew my dog would be in wonderful hands while I was away. About: With over 10 years of experience in the veterinary field, rest assure that your pet is getting the best care. I worked in a general practice hospital for 5 years then transitioned to an Internal Medicine department where I worked for 5 years. With a special interest in senior dogs. I am able to administer medications for advanced disease processes. I am currently a stay at home mom, so I am home most of the time. I will be able to provide one-on-one attention, play time, and multiple bathroom breaks throughout the day. I have a very large fenced in back yard that is safe for your dog to run around in. I have a senior dog who spends most of her day napping. We also have a pet bunny who is kept separate from our visiting dogs. There are two children aged 6 and 8 that live in the home as well.
