Growing up with energetic, affectionate dogs taught me how important exercise, attention, patience, and play are for keeping dogs happy and healthy I currently work at a marina during weekdays but work at my own schedule. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve raised and puppy-trained dogs, have experience with exotic animals, and understand that every pet is different. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.

Through these experiences, I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, and I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I have a secure, fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and get exercise, and I live in a one-story home with plenty of space to relax. I also have a friendly miniature Goldendoodle who loves other dogs and enjoys having playmates. I live with my retired grandmother, who is also a big dog lover, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine and instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special care requests. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of my two small dogs since I was eight years old after years of begging for one. I love all dogs and understand each one has their own special needs, since my dogs each need different foods, toys, and levels of attention. I am available for night time walks and most every weekend. I know how picky I am about who takes care of my dogs when I travel so I know what it takes to be a trustful, caring pet sitter who will put you at ease of mine when you're away. I am very responsible and will make sure that your dog's care is a priority and that all of their needs are met. I’ve walked and sat for all different types of dogs while living in NYC and have a wide range of experience whether that be hyperactive dogs who need to get their energy out or senior dogs who need a little extra care. I am currently working 9-5 during the week so I am available for any nightly walks or checks in and on the weekends! The weekends I have more flexibility and am available to dog sit or for walks! I have an apartment that is safe for any pet and am a short walk to multiple parks and dog parks! I also am available to stay in a clients home and would respect any rules you have for your pets and your home, as I know how much trust is placed in a pet caregiver. I will make sure to meticulously follow any eating, sleeping, and cleaning habits for the dogs and will respect any home.

About: Throughout my life, we have added several different dog breeds to our family. I will care for your fur babies as they were my own. I am so lucky to have adopted puppies and cared for them until the end of their lives. I am a very caring person and will give your pets lots of attention and love. I am retired, so with that I have plenty of time to play and love your pet. I am available during the week even over night. I have plenty of room in my house for them and will be glad to walk them. I do have a patio that I can close if they want to spend time out doors.

“MNicky was beyond awesome with my fur babies. I was gone for 8 days. My 12 year old chihuahua has allergies and is super sensitive to touch. Nicky was wonderful with him, making sure the leash didn’t touch him etc. My 2 cats are young and hide from strangers. When I got home, all 3 babies were looking to her for attention and pettings and ignoring me. A great sign of what an awesome job she did. Nicky stayed in my home with my babies. My home was cleaner when I got home then it was when I left. She cleaned the inside of my microwave, a job I hate. What a great surprise when I opened the door to a sparkling interior.
