About: Through out my life I have owned two senior dogs who required extra love and attention. I have trained and worked with puppies as well. I am currently available weekdays at anytime throughout the day. I can do morning or evenings. I can not wait to play with your dogs! I have experience watching fur babies in clients homes. About: I’ve had my own dog since 2017 and have helped care for him ever since. For the past 5 summers, I’ve also dog sat and house sat for a family friend’s two standard poodles, one elderly dog with hip issues and hearing/vision loss, and one younger, high-energy dog who needed lots of attention and play. Last fall, I cared for the older dog during his final days, helping him stand, supporting him outside, and cleaning up after him when needed. I have also dogsat for my cousin's dogs for multiple days, walking them however much they needed and spending time with them. In addition, I’ve cared for a family friend’s cat by feeding her, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and spending time with her while they were away. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I’m waiting to hear back about a summer internship, but even with that I would still be available for evening visits and weekends. If I do not get the internship, I’ll likely be working part-time with varying shifts, which would still allow me to do pet care during the other half of the day and let pets out before and after work. I’m reliable with scheduling and happy to work around your pet’s needs. I have an electric fence but can take will take it out on a leash if they aren't fence trained. I have a dog that is not 100% reliable on how friendly he will be if it is a male but we can easily put him away for a few hours and keep him calm. I would mostly keep a client's pet within their home/neighborhood.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
