“Our dog is 20 months old and has never been without us since 4 months old. He loved being there it was as if we never left him there for 4 days. Jessica showed him the attention and love that we wanted. She is awesome. ausgezeichnet ! We will use h3 again and will recommend without reservation.”

“Paige was great with Mazzy! This is the longest we've ever had to be away from our dog Mazzy, and things went great!! Lots of pictures lots of walks lots of love 🙏🏽💜 Would definitely recommend her!”

“Alex was so great with my dog Cora! She's a newly adopted rescue, so I was nervous about how she would handle a new place/person but Alex helped her settle right in. She even made a few new doggy friends while she was there! Alex kept me updated on her & sent me pics, which definitely helped with my anxiety about her adjusting. I will definitely be booking Alex again next time I have to go out of town.”

“Joseph is kind and caring and Edward had a great stay with him! Joseph sent lots of adorable photos and videos of Edward while I was away - so much appreciated! He has a wonderful private yard, great for doggy play, and I loved that Edward could hang out pretty much anywhere he wanted, snoozing on the couch, etc! I highly recommend Joseph and will definitely ask him for care of Edward again! Thank you so much, Joseph!”
“Amber was an incredible dog sitter! She took such great care of our dog Daisy, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos, and it was clear Daisy was getting spoiled with plenty of walks, love, treats and attention. Amber truly went above and beyond we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! I highly recommend trusting Amber with your pup!”

“Bailey was great with our golden retriever. She made him feel right at home with her family of kids and pets. She communicated regularly with me and sent pictures which were reassuring and told me Benny was having a great time. I highly recommend her.”

“Nancy was fantastic and so super sweet! Very responsive when we needed to communicate and easy to work with for drop off/pick up logistics. She sent us some pictures of our happy pup during our time away and we felt he was in great hands the whole time.”

“Nieves was amazing! I have always relied on family to watch any dogs I own but I stepped out of my comfort zone and was thoroughly impressed. Murphy and Chloe were so well taken care of by Nieves and her boyfriend. I received photos and video updates throughout their stay. It made being away from them so much easier. They were so loved!! We will be trusting them with our fur babies in the future for sure!!”

“Tabrizia was amazing. My dog had a health crisis and Tabrizia and her husband handled it with great care and grace. They were so kind to my dog (and me). I would recommend them to anyone.”
“Tyler was extremely patient and accommodating for my Harley and she felt right at home which is unlike her when new environments. I was extremely happy to see her so at ease and comfortable from the time I dropped off.”

“Our Loki has been scared to death to stay at other boarders—even the trainer he had, but Jennifer made him feel comfortable and secure while he was there. He snuggled up to her immediately and was loved like he was hers. We will definitely count on her next time we need to board our little guy!”

“Thank you Danielle!! Spice and Coco have indicated that they had a great time. We are so thankful to have found you! It made our trip so much easier to go worry free. The girls seemed very relaxed and every picture you sent over our trip, showed how happy they were. Your attitude during the entire stay they had, was over the top. When our return flight was canceled, and it added an extra day to our trip, you again made us feel at ease. Can't thank you enough, and would use you again on our return next summer. Pat, Sue, Spice and Coco.”

About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. I’ve never worked in a vet clinic, but I have many years of clinical experience with humans so I do have that background. I work from home Monday through Friday and my home office is in our finished basement so the dogs have their own space in the basement with food, water, toys, beds, puppy pads as well as full access to my office to come and go as they please and they just spend the day with me while I’m working. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.
About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. After years of taking care of every size, shape and age of dog, no request from the owner is too wacky. From complicated medication directions to particular night time routines, I know your pet is part of your family and deserves to go about life as usual, despite mom/dad not being home. Reach out, I would love to connect! I work full-time fully remote! So while I will need WiFi and a desk to type on my laptop while I watch your pet, there is always time for walks, snuggles and whatever else your pet needs. My goal when I pet sit is to keep the pet in its normal environment and routine as much as possible. I am always very clean and respectful of any house I pet sit in.
About: We are an energetic family that love animals. We will make sure your animal is well looked after and receives the love it deserves ! I will be off this summer and will be home throughout the day to take care of your animals. We can also look after your animal over night. We live in a dead end neighborhood where there are not many cars that pass through. We will make sure there is always a set of eyes on your animal.

About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. I currently work full-time from home and I’m outside with my dogs every day playing! pet care is a necessity for me as my world revolves around my girls. I have two labs that are very friendly and playful, I also have the ability to crate dogs as well. I used to work in clients homes so I have a vast understanding of the necessity to keep your home safe and well cared for. I also understand the vulnerability that your pet may feel if you are gone at work or for a period of time.
About: I have had experience with pets since I was I child, my family and I love all kind of pets , I am from Costa Rica so I always had a pet in my house and around from friends and family. I am available most of the time, I am super open to work holidays, weekends and nights, just contact me before booking to check availability. I have my own farm house in Swanville Maine, a very quiet and very peaceful place without many neighbors around, perfect for pets and very near from Belfast.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
