“Kara is fantastic!! Right from the beginning with the meet and greet I knew I picked the right pet sitter. I was away for 6 days and Kara did a daily drop in service for my cat, Rue. My cat needs meds for skin allergies and she was able to stay on her prescribed dosage the entire time. Kara provided great care to Rue. Stress and being off of the meds can create flare ups of sores. Rue was happy and healthy when I returned home. Kara sent pictures every day and I could see that Rue had bonded with Kara immediately! I was able to share the daily pictures with my family as we traveled and it was a treat to look forward to seeing how Rue was doing. The human contact and playtime that Kara provided kept Rue’s stress level down and the meds she was able to administer kept Rue healthy. What a relief it was to me knowing Rue had such a great caregiver. I will definitely be using Kara again for future trips away from home.”

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind at a veterinary clinic. My duties included taking them outside to use the restroom, clean their cages and giving them baths. I have also watch my neighbors pets since I was 15. My duties included letting the animals out, feeding them breakfast and dinner and taking them on walks. I am available at anytime of the week. I typically work nights. My schedule is very flexible so I can leave work for a couple hours at a time to check in with your pets. I would follow instructions given to me about taking care of the animal and clean up when needed in a clients home. Some examples would be following written or verbal instructions.

I care for each pet like they’re someone’s baby, because they are! I currently work 8-4, but have a very flexible schedule. I can care for pets at almost any time of the day, and would love to play with your pets! I have one friendly dog who loves to go for walks or run in the field across the street. Our yard is not fenced in, but I have a very sturdy lead they can run on. We have tons of toys, and dogs are allowed on any furniture unless you specify otherwise. I have a crate and room for others if you provide your own.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for the past 20 years, as I am relocating to Stevens point I am looking for new ways to stay busy 😊 Currently relocating to Stevens pointe and will always make the time to fit your pet into my schedule. My dog billy passed away from cancer, my wife and i put him through chemotherapy to give him a chance at life. He fought for 2 years, and passed at the age of 5. About: I am the proud owner of 5 dogs ( 1 GSD, 1 King Shepard, 2 huskies, and a husky GSD mix). I've always had pets - cats and dogs. I'm a new owner to 2 bearded dragons as well. I had a sheltie for 13 years as a tri-paw and welcome any pups that need extra love and attention I'm working part time and am able to drop in for your pets in the evenings and weekends when my schedule permits! I can do weekly visits or just one time depending on your needs. Each babe is cared for individually. No one will be left alone and will always be secure in handling. I understand that not all babes can be off leash or trusted with other pets, sometimes items in the yard or house can be scary.

About: I am currently a veterinary assistant, so I am comfortable paying close attention to an animal’s behavior, routine, and overall well-being. I also have experience working as a behavioral training assistant and dog walker at a humane society, where I worked with dogs that had many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, and I understand how important patience, consistency, and a calm environment can be for pets who may feel stressed when their owners are away. Through my behavioral training experience, I have also practiced working with dogs on basic manners, confidence-building, and adjusting my approach based on each dog’s personality. I also have practice giving medications and assisting with vaccines, so I am comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet receives the attention they need. Overall, I try to treat every pet like they are my own while still respecting the routine and expectations their owner has already built. Whether a pet needs extra playtime, a slower approach, medication, walks, or just someone calm and attentive nearby, I am happy to adjust my care to what works best for them. Pet care fits very well into my current routine because I am only working as a veterinary assistant in Antigo two days out of the week. Outside of those workdays, I have a flexible schedule and am especially available on weekends. Since I will be in the area for the summer before I move, I would love to use that time to help people in the local community with pet sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, or other care needs. I know summer can be a busy time for travel, work, and family plans, so I am happy to provide reliable care when owners need someone they can trust. My schedule allows me to give pets the time and attention they need while still being consistent with their normal routine. I care for pets in a client’s home by trying to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I know pets can feel more comfortable when their feeding schedule, walks, playtime, medications, and quiet time stay close to what they are used to, so I always pay close attention to the instructions each owner provides. I am also very detail-oriented when it comes to caring for someone’s home. My goal is for you to return to a space that feels just as comfortable as when you left it, whether that means cleaning up after your pet, keeping food and supplies organized, bringing in mail, watering plants, or making sure the home is tidy before you return. Overall, I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, care, and attention to their individual needs.
