She took care of my babies like they were her own and that made me feel very stress-free being away from them. I would highly recommend Amber and will definitely use her in the future.”
About: I've spent years caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and hamsters. Over the years, my family has owned multiple pets including bunnies, cats, and dogs from black labs to havanese. Those experiences have taught me how to understand different personalities, routines, and care needs while giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. I'm patient, dependable, attentive, and flexible, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know every animal I meet. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'll care for them with the same kindness and dedication I would give my own pets. I am available everyday from 7 in the morning until 8 in the evening up to 3 visits a day with 2 outside breaks and 1 longer walk. For bunnies and cats, play sessions and exercise as needed. I will follow your pets routine, providing plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while making sure they always feel safe and comfortable. I like to arrange a meeting prior to the first day of sitting to get aquatinted with your pet in its space. My three years of experience as a camp leader and coach have taught me to be responsible, patient, attentive, and adaptable.

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
