Lindsay was quick to respond, asked questions to ensure Graham’s stay was comfortable, and was very tentative to his needs (kindly keeping in touch and making accommodations to ensure that Graham was well taken care of). About: I have had experience caring for two elderly cats, including one that was blind, as well as a kitten. I cared for my blind cat for three years and my other cat for four years. I was always patient and gentle, especially when my blind cat would get stuck or lose her way. I learned to recognize when my cats wanted to play and when they preferred to be left alone. I would love to have another cat, and I'm excited about the opportunity to play with and care for cats again.

About: I owned cats for my entire childhood and part of my adult life. Once I got married I wasn’t able to get another cat since my husband is allergic. I miss taking care of an adorable cat! I love their aloof personalities and the trust you have to gain with them to get them to open up. I had a cat I rescued when I was younger who absolutely hated me at first but I knew cats are a slow race with a very rewarding. After many cans of wet food she became my best friend! She even learned how to use the toilet! She was an excellent cat I miss everyday.

I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! About: I have had many dogs throughout my life. I was unbelievably sad when my last one died, so I am not ready for another pup just yet. So for now, yours will have to do! I like dogs of all shapes and sizes and have my own experience with complicated dog-life situations. My last one (a Bassett Hound named Mugsey) went through chemo for cancer, became diabetic and blind, aaaand deaf, aaand then developed urinary incontinence. I built him ramps for the couch and the bed. I gave him insulin injections for 2+ years. I fed him at psychotically specific times per day and with very precise amounts of food (ugh, diabetes). And I loved him just as much through those tough times as I did when he was healthy. I love all dogs more than most people and it would be great to take care of some again from time to time. Oh, and I made a trail that goes down to a river/creek from my backyard, and a big trail along the creek. Dogs love it, and so do I! I'll put up a big fence in the yard eventually, but for now... leash walks whenever the dog/dogs want to go! Also, I moved here from Houston about a year ago, and am just getting around to Rover'ing here. The pictures on my profile are in that old house. I'll update soon with new ones here. Thanks!! I have trained my own puppies and also taken care of friends' and families' pets for years. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a neutered 1 year old Australian shepherd to play with your dog. For adult dogs, I usually let them out into my yard at least 5 times a day, or more if they need to go out or if it is a puppy or older dog. If the dog is in good health, we will go on at least one long walk in the neighborhood in the afternoon as well per day as well as playing with my dog in my yard. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood. We have a magnetic screen door so, once we make sure the dogs know how to open it, we let the dogs come in and out all day (weather permitting). I have been dog sitting for over 10 years and I have had several dogs of my own. I have been with several different types as well as aggressive and deaf dogs. I understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and comfort levels, and I take the time to make sure they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or a calm and quiet environment, I’m happy to tailor care to what makes them happiest. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I do like to go on walks. I typically like the dog to stay at their home and I come there so they are more comfortable in their own environments. About: Ever since I was a baby my household has had more than one dog at a time. I have taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I have never professionally taken care of other dogs but have had much experience with taking care of my own. I can handle taking care of multiple dogs at once (at some point in my household we had 6 dogs at once). With me, you'll never have to worry about your animals because I'll take care of them and give them as much love as I give mine. I work full-full time, M-F 7am-4:30pm. I enjoy running and also hiking the various mountains around the North Georgia area, but also love to curl up on the couch and watch TV for hours at a time. I have been a [people] nurse for 20+ years, giving me the confidence to take care of daily medication and/or exercises that may be needed for your pet. House sitting can be arranged for extended periods, but please note that I do work away from home 40+ hours a week M-F. About: I have owned at least one dog for as long as I can remember. In 2020, I lost my job during the pandemic and started pet sitting. I fell in love. I love my client’s pets like they are my own. I work Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm. I also get an hour for lunch that can be flexible. Weekends obviously work best for me. With always having pets of my own, my mom worked at an animal hospital that I would be at on Saturdays so I was always around other peoples pets. About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much!
