About: I have been dog sitting in different capacities since I was in high school. I started off dog sitting for family and neighbors and now have a base of returning clients, one of which has show dogs. I have even been hired by the IWCA (Irish Wolfhound Club of America) to watch puppies and walk dogs at an international show. I have a base knowledge for training basic skills such as sit, down, stay, come and so on. I also have some experience working with reactive dogs and will work at their pace. Bottom line, I will love your fur babies like they're my fur babies! I work full time, but I am usually home by 4 pm so evenings and weekends are when I am most available. I can be flexible though! My calendar is currently open through 2025. If you want to book in advance for 2026, please message me and I will let you know if I can accommodate your dates! In my home, it's the dogs house and I just live there lol! I understand that how I train my dogs and the rules in my house don't work for everyone. I’ve been around animals ever since I was born and began to have a passion for caring for my furry friends. I currently have 4 dogs and 3 cats that I love dearly 💞 I also take care of my other family members pets when they’re away for vacation. I am currently doing this full time to spend time with your furry friends and also have experience with senior pets since I also have 2 senior pets of my own. About: I grew up spending my weekends on a farm taking care of various animals including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and donkeys. Additionally, in my first year of college, me and my roommates adopted a kitten and split the responsibilities of her care! Monday through Friday, I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. On Saturdays and Sundays I am available in the mornings and afternoons, with an occasional evening opening. Please try to contact me a week an advance. The most important part about caring for furry friends is ensuring that they have a space to feel comfortable with any outsiders. I like to give new pets a chance to get to know me before anything else!

“Melissa visited Muddy for a drop-in visit. They quickly became best friends. After Muddy took care of a “nature call”, he came back in the house and showed Melissa all of his wonderful toys that his mom and dad buy (mostly, mom). Finally, Muddy went up on the couch and they chilled for a while before Melissa told Muddy it was time for her to leave. He eagerly went back into his crate and was glad that he got a big cookie and a kong to amuse himself with. He said if mom and dad have to leave him, he’d be thrilled to have Melissa come in to see him. Melissa is Muddy-approved!”
