About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, but I really started learning through hands-on experience when I got my own pug 6 years ago. He’s super mellow and has taught me so much about caring for dogs day-to-day. I love making sure pups feel comfortable and entertained—especially if they’re treat-motivated! I have enrichment toys, a basket full of fun toys, and a cozy patio they can relax on. There’s also a dog park in my community for extra playtime. I’m not a pro trainer, but I’m happy to work on basic training with treats and patience. I just genuinely love dogs and want them to feel happy and at home. Pet care is naturally part of my daily life. I take my dog on walks around my townhouse complex, stop by the dog park, and make sure he gets plenty of play and cuddle time. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but my partner is home during the day if needed, and I always make time in the evenings for walks, feeding, and attention. On weekends, I’m fully available. I also love taking dogs to pet-friendly spots throughout the week—because they deserve a fun outing and a little treat now and then, like a pup cup if allowed! I am currently working and taking classes remotely and so I’ll have plenty of time to spend time and take care of the dogs. My mother-in-law drove by him while he was walking out dogs and she told me he moved them aside (there is no sidewalk) and paid attention to his surroundings. He knows dog behavior so he teaches me about them and why they do what they do. Hands down a true and reliable dog walker.”

About: Hi! I’m Alexa, a recent University of Miami graduate and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and birds and have spent the last 10+ years caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my family has also been involved with supporting a no-kill animal shelter, which has only strengthened my love for helping animals. I currently have two dogs with completely different personalities, which has taught me how important it is to understand every pet’s individual needs. My 11-year-old dog is calmer, loves relaxing, sunbathing, and getting attention, while my younger rescue dog is energetic, playful, and always ready to run around. Having both has given me experience with senior dogs, rescues, high-energy dogs, and different temperaments. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, bathing, playtime, and giving medications. My dog Bentley has diabetes, so I also have personal experience caring for pets with medical needs and understand how important it is to be attentive, responsible, and follow instructions carefully. I would describe myself as patient, gentle, active, and extremely attentive. I always pay attention to little details, whether that means making sure a dog isn’t overheating outside, keeping fresh water available, noticing changes in behavior, or simply making sure they feel loved and comfortable. Im currently home for the summer and I high flexibility for dog walking, house sitting, and potty breaks. About: I have a lot of experience volunteering at various animal shelters and caring for cats and dogs of all ages. I have had elderly, disabled and animals in need of help due to an illness in my care as well. I have also had limited experience training younger dogs. I am currently working completely online, so I will have plenty of time to care for animals! However, I will have commitments on most weekends. I have a spacious house, with multiple levels, which can be blocked off in case an animal may not be able to use them. I also have a large backyard with plenty of room for larger animals to run around. I have no other pets. I am also able to crate a dog in case they are crate trained, and am quite flexible with any other accommodations for an animal.
