I’ve been around animals ever since I was born and began to have a passion for caring for my furry friends. About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of pets since I was 12. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and look after their animals. I also have a friendly dog whom I walk, feed, bathe, and love spending time with! I’m a full-time teacher during the school year, but I’m available for pet care during the summer months (June through August), in the mornings or afternoons. About: I’ve had a dog for almost 11 years but I put I only have 5 years of experience because I was trusted to take care of her alone around 5 years ago. I’m 18 years old and very good with dogs. I love playing with them and taking them for walks. I’m always happy to help! This is a job I will be doing while I’m on break from college so I’m honestly good most days. I would be good for as early as 8 am and as late as 10 or 11 pm. I always watch the pets closely and look for signs of stress or discomfort. I like to give them lots of attention and make sure that they are well fed and taken care of. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness and leash are on correctly and we only go in the areas the pet owner is okay with. I will also make sure they have water before I leave and that they have used the bathroom.
About: I had two lovely dogs for sixteen years -- a teacup chihuahua and a Carin terrier. We got both when I was only six years old, and I was immensely lucky to grow up with such amazing companions. Rosie, our teacup chihuahua, was my absolute soul dog -- full of wit, charisma, and humour, she always knew what I needed in every situations. I took over full time care her in her last few years before she passed of old age in 2020. Her passing was one of the most difficult things I've had to bear, as her loss left an immense empty hole in my life. She had several health issues, anxiety, and eating sensitivities, so I understand how sensitive and unique each dog's care can and should be. Now, I take care of a cat, the neighborhood stray, and absolutely love any opportunity to have dogs around me now that I no longer have any of my own. My two dogs were absolutely a part of my family and I intend to treat your pets as such as well. I am currently working part-time so my hours are flexible and open! I aim to work around your schedule, so we can collaborate on figuring out what hours would be best for your case. Your dog will get my full hands-on attention as I have no other pets currently. I have a very safe, walkable neighborhood with lovely parks in my surrounding area so your pet will be able to get all the walking they need! I do not have a yard, unfortunately! If you do choose a home visit, please rest assured that your home will be treated with the utmost respect and care. It will be almost as if I was never there! :)
