About: Hi! I'm Nathalie and I live in the Riverwalk area of Chesapeake VA. I joined Rover, to be totally honest, because I love dogs more than people (and I don’t even feel bad about it 🐶). I've had dogs in my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. My own beloved dog (my little Chihuahua pictured) passed away last year, and while I’m not ready to get another one just yet, my heart has so much dog love to give. That’s why I’d be honored to care for your dog as if they were my own. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, long walks, or just making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away, I’m here for it. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone else, but with me, your dog will be in experienced, trustworthy hands. If you’d like, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos (I love taking photos!!!), so you can relax knowing your furry child is being showered with love. I am a Naval Officer, but I am currently not working lots of hours so I certainly have time for afternoon and/or evening walks and can even stay at your house if you prefer. Let’s make sure your dog gets the attention, playtime, and care they deserve. Can’t wait to meet your four-legged family member! 🐾💕 *** If your dog is crate trained and very well house trained, we can talk about boarding him/her also at my house. I’d like to offer that on a case by case basis after I met your dog. *** I work less than an 8hr job (Mo-Fri) at the moment and usually go to the gym in the afternoon but can make that schedule flexible. On a work day, I usually go to bed by 9pm, but may go on an occasional dinner with friends during the week. But my afternoon and evening schedules can be flexible pending your dog needs. You tell me what your dog needs. I have pampered my dog plenty. He had his own blanket he wanted folded in my bed a certain way before he was willing to lay down for the night by my side… so no ask is too big to comfort you and know that your dog is taken care off the way you feel comfortable when you are not home.

About: I have lived with and around cats and dogs my entire life, and am an all-around animal lover. I’m experienced with seniors, puppies, and kittens! Willing to do whatever it takes to care for your pets! I’m working full time at a cafe with a schedule that changes every week. But I’m willing to communicate and work around my schedule to care for your pets to the best of my ability! I’ll follow whatever instructions or guidelines given, but will always look for each dog’s unique way of communicating. Whether that means looking for if they’re uncomfortable, wanting more play, or simply following the habits they already have.

“This is the first time we have ever left our dogs with someone outside of family. We recently moved to Chesapeake and had to to California for my daughter's graduation from college. I had been fretting about being so far away from our fur babies and leaving them with someone we did not know. We felt comfortable with Emmaleigh the moment we met her. She listen to us and our needs for our dogs. Our dogs are barkers and they barked during the meet and greet. But, they did so well when she came to watch them.
