About: Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. Our puppy is even learning how to use buttons to "speak". :) I've got a soft spot for every cat and dog out there, and I'd be thrilled to look after your precious babies whenever you need a hand. About: I have always had dogs and cats. I did have a bird for a little while. I also currently have chickens, turtles, fish and a tortoise. I love to play fetch, or cuddle up with a furball. I schedule my time to allow plenty of time for each visit. I'm currently available most days of the week to care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard. My dogs would be kept downstairs while your dog is in the house. I also have a couple crates if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. Cats can be put in bedrooms if needed for a short time.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and household rules. About: My house is full of love and my dogs will surely keep your pets entertained they are friendly with almost everyone and the indoor and indoor/outdoor cats have been around many dogs and other animals with no problems in addition the rodents and birds areas can be closed off so your pet has no experience with those animals to keep all pets happy and healthy. I grew up on a farm so I have experience with cows, goats, rabbits, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs and cats. When I turned 17 I started my zoo as my father calls it, I have 11 animals. I started with a simple one cat and one dog. In 2023 I increased the number from 2 pets to 5 getting a Chinchilla and two cats one showing up at my front door and another surrendered to me after I friend couldn’t care for him anymore. Then in the beginning of 2025 another friend moved and couldn’t bring her birds so we took in 3 parakeets which they do better in pairs so we bought one to make it 4 and then a couple months later we were finally able to find a second chinchilla so that nether was lonely because they are also better in pairs also. Lastly number 11 I had been thinking about for awhile I always wanted a lot of dogs being a big dog person so my 11th pet we got at the beginning of 2026 she is a 6 month old border collie. I currently work part-time in the evenings so I’m free every morning and all weekend depending on the weekend. I can also be available any day by request but my days off are always Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday. I live in a rural area with a large space for dogs to play we have a 5 year old small medium pit-terrier mix and a 6 month old border collie. I also have a variety of pets so I have knowledge on how to care for birds, rodents, fish, cats and of course dogs large and small.

About: My current job involves taking care of all types of animals, and I have had many types of pets my whole life. Reptiles, furry friends, small animals, birds, fish, etc. I know basic(and in most cases, more than that) care for majority of pets. Im comfortable with all kinds, furry, or scaly! I have a full time job, and schedule changes every week. Im often working evenings, so mornings are most open for me. Although I am flexible, and able, to move my schedule around. I have reliable transportation, and i'm comfortable coming to your home to care for your pet. I am okay walking, feeding, checking in on, etc., any pets you may have. I love all animals!

About: Friends and family always joke that if I could own a zoo, I would certainly have one. I’ve had my own dogs since I was old enough to convince my mom it would be a good idea. 5 fur babies I claim as my own, my two and my boyfriends 3. That’s a lot of dog hair! I have experience in oral medication administration, grooming, surgical aftercare, and experience working with both puppies and large dogs alike. I have experience working with dogs who have anxiety courtesy of my pup Willow, and continue to learn a lot along the way. Experience working with dietary restrictions due to health issues, and the special needs of those whose hair is turning grey. I love providing enrichment for my pups, mental stimulation is key! I am currently available most weekdays for drop ins and walks between 10am and 4pm, and on weekends I have mostly open availability. I would love to get to know you and your pup and develop a routine if you’re looking for regular services! Though I don’t offer boarding in my home currently, safe practices are of the utmost importance to me when it comes to the health and security of your pets and your peace of mind when you’re away from them. I am comfortable with re-securing kennel and crate trained dogs, and am effective at coaxing those who aren’t so fond of their crate. One of our pups is an extremely large and loving Great Pyrenees and she’s about as stubborn as a mule, but she responds better to me than the rest of her two footed family members! If your baby has a strict feeding schedule or timed medication doses, I am very mindful of this when working with them, and will thoroughly follow any set feeding guidelines or dosages that are laid out. Every dog has their own unique personality and quirks that make them special, and sometimes those quirks can lead to pet parent concern, I love to get to know a dog’s personality from their owners, because it helps me to work with them in providing the best care possible for their needs by knowing how they respond in different situations or interactions. Communication is key! I harness and recall trained my dogs, and know that both are an important combination to maintaining safety when out of the home. If you have a reactive dog who’s in need of some exercise, rest assured that I will keep their safety as well as the safety of others in mind when out on a walk. Maintaining distance and providing redirection if and when needed.

About: Neighbors friends and families have all relied on me to bath, walk, medicate their babies and I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding resort! I’m currently working as a kennel technician at R Veterinary in Fenton. I work full-time at least 40 hours a week! Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday I work 10:30-7pm Fridays I work 7am-7pm Saturdays I work 4-7pm And I’m off Wednesdays and Sundays! I have one dog well trained, free roam of the house, allowed on everything, potty trained and go out for his walk every day, and takes days off as he wants!

About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! About: Hi friends! I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my home with four dogs, a cat, and some very spoiled chickens. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and it never feels like “work.” I know how busy life gets, and how important it is to travel or take a break without stressing about your pets. With experience in both home care and kennel settings, I’ve seen how much happier and calmer animals are when they can stay in their own environment. About: I enjoy dog walks and play. I love to also be able to groom if need be to keep our fur babies happy and healthy and looking good! Cuddle time is my favorite time too! Monday through Thursday I work a split shift where I normally have 11am-2pm available to do any running I need to do. I have Fridays completely off from my full time job as well! My pups get fed twice a day, and my cats get one big full bowl to munch on through the day. I clean my little boxes 2-3 times a week and I also go into my yard to clean up dog poo as well! Our pets get so much love and cuddles, along with weekly baths! They love to through around the ball, or play tug or war!

About: I grew up around dogs working at a grooming shop and love animals! My children are older. They are 21 and 18 and loves animals as well! I do wfh. I’m available during the week and weekends as well. I do have a Pom-a-Poo, Brooklyn and a cat, Milo. They are sweet and loving! I enjoy on nice days taking dogs to the dog park, walks on trails, or through my neighborhood. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take them outside on a leash frequently. I have plenty of time to play with your pups and available pretty much 7 days a week! During the day someone is generally always home. I have a fenced in yard. I also ask if your dog is crated to bring your crate as well. I feed them on the schedule you provide and walks as well I am currently working from home and available to maintain any schedule or routine as needed to ensure dog/puppy day to day in minimally disrupted I have a fenced in yard and make sure I do not leave out items they can get into or harmful to ensure their safety

About: I have trained puppies and have had multiple pets. My friends are always asking me to help with their animals, even financially. I love the meet and greets and spending my time with animals! I am working right now but am available after and before my shift for staying the night, feedings, walks, play time, etc. I would love to get paid to help while you are away! I am safe and reliable. About: I have always had at least one animal in my home since I was born. My grandmother showed dogs and I would often help her get them trained and groomed. She was also an amazing professional dog groomer and I spent a large chunk of my time with her and learning from her. I like puppies but I have a love for older dogs. I have experience administering meds and injections. I work part time, on the weekends and I go to college full time. In the summer I work 5 days a week but based on your needs I can fit your furry friend into my schedule. I like to have a little list of things that you would think is important like the vet you want them to go to if your baby gets hurt, a feeding schedule, and anything that you may have concerns about while I stay at your house. I treat all of the animals I watch as they are my own babies and think it’s important to gain the trust of them while at your home, so they feel more comfortable.

About: I’ve grown up around big and small dogs all my life. I have also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors and love to take my German shepherd on runs. I live at home right now and am taking one class online and work-part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pets and snuggle them. I make sure the animal will stay within boundaries if they have to stay in a fence and will make sure that they get all meds needed or food on time.
