About: I have several years of experience volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter where I was responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, play time, and administering medications. I have taken puppy training classes, and also have experience with senior dogs who require special attention and care. I am a stay at home homeschool mom of two responsible teenagers who also love dogs. We are home minus church and running basic errands. I have a female German Shepherd mix named Meg. She loves other dogs, shares her toys, and she gets 1-2 walks everyday; rain or shine.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I started volunteering with a pet rescue around 2016 and have fostered many cats and dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs with allergies and skin conditions including giving topical and oral medications. I understand the importance of strict and/or special diets and also the degree to which some dogs rely on a schedule. I currently only do volunteer pet rescue work and have plenty of free time to help folks who need drop in visits. My only time constraint currently is that I can only do drop-ins during school hours, roughly 9am-2pm. In my experience with many different cats and dogs over the years fostering, I love getting to know all the different personalities and believe that the utmost care should be taken in regards to making sure your pets are well taken care of. Whether that is in regard to food, medication or even just their own personal quirks.

About: Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. Our puppy is even learning how to use buttons to "speak". :) I've got a soft spot for every cat and dog out there, and I'd be thrilled to look after your precious babies whenever you need a hand. I can either host them at my place or swing by your home to check in on them. Your pets' happiness and well-being are my top priorities! I can absolutely understand the importance of trust when it comes to finding the right pet sitter. So, let me assure you, I'm a dedicated and reliable professional. I'll treat your furry friends like they're part of my own family, following their routines and taking care of any special medications or dietary needs they may have. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your adorable pets! Feel free to reach out anytime. As a stay-at-home mom with older children, I have the flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your needs seamlessly! Please reach out with any questions about my availability. As mentioned earlier, our household comprises three friendly cats and a 6-month-old puppy. They are all well-accustomed to meeting new furry pals and get along famously with both dogs and cats. If necessary, we can easily arrange separate living spaces to ensure your fur-baby feels comfortable and at ease.

About: I have taken care of many dogs even ones with medical issues and I also am very active so walking them would be no problem! I work full time but I am able to make it work , I am also doing online college so that makes it easier also! Whether or not your dogs are trained off leash, I would prefer walking them, or taking them out on their leash just in case they don’t listen and runoff!

About: Hello friends! I'm so happy to express my experience with you. I have had dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life. Helping my friends out is what gave me this idea. We have 4 dogs of our own, 1 cat and chickens. I'm not shy to say how much we love animals. Why choose me though? Well, it's simple. I'm doing this service because I know how important it is to HAVE to work in this economy. I know how important it is to take a vacation from all the craziness. We will be taking a vacation as well. Guess who will be watching my pets? But what about YOUR animals? I've had experience in a kennel environment and I know your animals are less stressed, less risk of disease like kennel cough, and happier being taken care of in the comfort of there own home. That's where I come in. I want to make sure your babies are safe, stress free and happy until you arrive home. Don't let your lifestyle be the reason why you couldn't have a pet or worry about them in the kennel the whole time. Having a person who loves animals like I do is the difference. It's not just a service, it's peace of mind. I currently own my own cleaning business. I love being with my children and homeschooling them. We have been going strong for a year and a half now. I love being my own boss and making my own schedule. I am picking this job up to help others and these pets. With the economy I'm seeing more and more moms having to go back to work. What about your pets? I love animals, so this is a perfect fit for me to embark on. I'm also showing my kids that a simple service makes the biggest changes in someone life. I would treat your pet the same way I do mine. With calm energy, love and happiness. These pets deserve the best. I want to make your life easier knowing your pets are being handled with care and respect.

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. They seem to respond to me well. I can usually figure out their needs and accommodate them. I have plenty of time on my hands currently. I am unemployed from the United States Postal Service. I am looking for enjoyable part time companionship with your dog. I enjoy walking! I have a great spot. It's a 2 mile round trip threw the woods down to the creek and back to the top of the hill. There's pretty cools spots to stop along the way. We have what I call the boyscout camp it's a small clearing in the woods, there is a beautiful maple tree, that just started growing back there. Lots to sniff. Then up a small hill to the trail down the the waterfall and then on to the creek. Of course we'll stop at the water fall. Either on the way down or back up. We'll hit parks in town or you're neighborhood. Or whatever is your dogs favorite spot. I don't have other dogs or kids. Just a couple of cats. And yes they re typical cats about dog's, Not impressed. But not to worry we won't be messing with any kitties. And did I mention that the 2 mile hike threw the woods is on private property. So no ther people or kids or dogs. We might see the occasional deer or turkey run by. Also I'm new to rover. Not sure what price should be. Open to suggestions. Thank you. I hope to be hearing form you and your dog soon! About: As a pet sitter, I offer more than just the basics! With hands-on experience in puppy training and specialized care for senior pets, I tailor my services to meet each pet's unique needs. I understand the importance of building trust, especially with pets that require extra attention, whether it's for house training, administering medications, or ensuring a calm, comforting environment. My goal is to provide peace of mind by treating your pets like family, so you can be confident they’re in skilled and compassionate hands while you're away. Balancing pet care with my nursing school schedule allows me to stay active and compassionate in my daily routine. I organize my week to ensure I’m available to give each pet the time and attention they need, whether that’s for walks, playtime, or specialized care. Pet sitting also brings a great balance to my life, offering me a chance to unwind and bond with animals, which I find incredibly rewarding and stress-relieving amid my studies. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable while sticking to their usual routines. If I'm there for dog walking, I take them on their preferred routes, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and stimulation. For longer stays, I keep their feeding, playtime, and sleeping schedule consistent with what they’re used to, as I know how much pets thrive on familiarity. I also offer overnight stays, where I’m present to provide comfort and care, especially if the pet is young, elderly, or needs special attention. I keep homes tidy, follow any specific instructions, and send updates to clients, so they have peace of mind knowing their pets and home are in good hands.

5. Karissa B.
“In my house, pets are people. They have feelings and needs. I pay attention, and look out for them as they look out for me. Karissa not only gets this concept, it is entirely the way she interacts with other people’s pets. When I go away, and cannot bring pets along, I don’t have to worry about paying a premium just to get an extra bit of time in the outdoors, additional cuddles or treats, or for remote cameras to check on them. I know that Karissa will treat them like I would, and that makes it one less worry to bring along on vacation.”
