“Great service and excellent communication. She sent pictures and videos throughout the stay, which really reassured me that the dogs were having fun and well taken care of. Highly recommend! Will book again.”

“I have used Deborah for both day care and overnight boarding and she is awesome! She and her family take great care of my anxious boy and I will continue to use her services.”

“Our two large, energetic boys did great. I very much appreciated the updates Jordyn gave to let us know they were having a good time. Jordyn’s sweet nature will have you and your pups feeling well cared for.”

“Anna was great, beyond great with Jacob. She sent pictures and/or video of him daily. Her house has a lot of space for the dogs, and she also get them out to walk. I do know my dog and I can tell, he was really happy with her and the other dogs she was taking care of. I already booked to leave him with her during my next vacations! I do recommend her.”

“Lori was great! She understood my concerns leaving our fur baby for the first time. She asked a lot of questions concerning our pets routine and level of comfort with other dogs. She had a system of introducing the pets to each other that gave me a sense of comfort. Lori was also a great communicator. We received numerous updates and photos every day. I would absolutely recommend Lori...and rebook her in the future!”

“Svetlana took excellent care of Dexter during his two-week stay. Communication was great from start to finish, and she consistently sent detailed updates, photos, and videos every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while traveling. It was clear Dexter was very comfortable and happy in her care. She paid close attention to his routines, walks, eating habits, and even adapted really well to communicating with him using hand signals since he is deaf. We especially appreciated how observant and thoughtful she was about his comfort, behavior, and exercise. Dexter clearly bonded with her family and PomPom, and it genuinely felt like he was staying in a caring home environment rather than just being boarded. We would absolutely book with Svetlana again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter.”

“Dee and Doug were phenomenal; super responsive, plenty of updates and just really wonderful people. They are set up perfectly for boarding and my two small rescues had a wonderful time running around outside in the fenced yard their sweet girl Bailey and snuggling inside (doggie bed swapping 😂) in the evenings. It was like leaving them with family. I think next time I’ll send the girls to travel and I’ll stay with Doug, Dee, and Bailey. ❤️”

“So happy with our boarding experience with Travis and Julie! This was our 1st time with them and felt very comfortable leaving Luna with them. Very caring family, would definitely use them again. Luna was very happy when we picked her up!”

“Amy cared for my very senior schnauzer for three days while I went out of town. This dog is temperamental at times and will refuse to eat when she’s not in her own home. Amy made my pup feel safe and secure and seems my dog never even missed me! Her life continued on! Excellent care for any pet!”

“Ryan and family were exceptional! I highly recommend them and hope that they have availability the next time in have the need. Wonderful people and Rover ambassadors!!”

“Christina‘s passion for dogs is evident when you first meet her. Her house is set up to accommodate the dogs. She has a kitty pool for them to play in their backyard. She takes them on walks twice a day and is very loving towards the dogs. She effectively communicated the entire time we were out of town sending pictures and updates. I would very much consider using her again.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly my passion. I have been actively involved in the rescue community for over 10 years and have extensive experience working with animals of all ages, personalities, and needs. I hold a degree in Animal Science and have gained hands-on experience working at a local animal shelter as well as as a pet care technician in a pet store. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and proper care. I am able to care for cats and am very knowledgeable about their unique needs and personalities. I am also able to board dogs, provided they are friendly with cats and children. Since I work from home full-time, your pets will receive plenty of supervision, attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication administration, or simply a calm and loving environment, I am committed to providing the same level of care and compassion that I would give my own animals. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and at ease while you’re apart. I work from home full time so I will be on YOUR pets schedule. I do have small children but they have been taught how to be around animals appropriately. They love to play with the animals but will never be unattended with them. I will provide whatever needs YOUR pet needs. They are all different and have different needs and schedules. I allow free roaming. Pets on furniture. Pets sleeping in the bed. Whatever your baby is most comfortable with is what they will get here.
“Thank you, Tiffany and family, for taking such great care of Pedro! Such a loving family and he seemed very comfortable. Grateful for the updates and pics :)”

“Brad and Kelli were amazing! From the start, they were super friendly and professional, and I loved that they did a meet and greet to make sure Sake was a good fit. Their dog, LucyBelle, was the perfect buddy—so calm and easygoing, which made Sake feel right at home. They sent me adorable photo updates the whole time, which gave me peace of mind. When I picked Sake up, she was happy, well cared for, and totally worn out from all the fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!”

“Was really glad to leave Tugger (dog) with her. Tug seemed to enjoy having kids and another dog around to play with. Jennifer sent updates and pictures while I was out of town visiting family. Which helped ease my anxiety with boarding him somewhere for the first time. Overall was a pretty good experience.”

“Stella is one of the most amazing dog sitters I have used. She is thoughtful, thorough, and so very kind. She knew our dog had separation anxiety and yet after just a few hours I had pictures of him joining in their family activities. Her home is pristine and she provided daily walks/runs, catch, and other fun activities for our dog. I don’t want others to know how wonderful she is because I want her all to myself (lol), but you will not be disappointed with the care she gives!”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
