Inside, we keep a comfortable, pet‑friendly space. My parents do smoke in the kitchen, but there is a fan running at all times and air filters in place to keep the home fresh and clean. About: Growing up I always wanted to work with animals. I worked at a pet store for a few years. In that time I learned a lot about small animals and reptiles. I ended up taking a few "misfits"home. I've taken in a Gerbil, Syrian Hamster, Crested Gecko, Parakeets, and a Green Cheeked Conure. They were the most amazing little guys. I've moved out of my parents and now have two kittens named Chowder and Liam and my green cheeked conure Charlie. Of course there are also the family pets I was not able to take when I moved out. Our dog Dodger is a hound mix and our cat Kitty I’m currently working part-time and in school part-time. So I can be pretty flexible. I’m available weekday mornings and evenings. Also weekend afternoons and evenings. When I am entering a home I always keep a calm voice. My priority is safety for both me and the pet. So getting them secure and comfortable before moving on to the tasks.
