About: grew up surrounded by animals—some more traditional, like cats and guinea pigs, and some a bit more unexpected, like free-roaming turtles, pet rats, and even a rescued crow. No matter the species, I believe every pet is a family member and deserves love, care, and attention. My primary experience is with cats, from playful kittens to senior cats requiring special medical care, prescription diets, and extra attention. I’ve also cared for a variety of small animals, including hamsters, guinea pigs, and ferrets, and I’m knowledgeable about setting up and maintaining freshwater fish tanks. I had a 10-gallon tropical tank for years and now have a betta fish. In addition to pet care, I’m responsible and detail-oriented when it comes to maintaining a home. I understand the importance of keeping things tidy, watering plants, and ensuring everything runs smoothly while you’re away. You can trust that both your pets and your home will be well cared for in your absence! I work remotely, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Outside of occasional appointments and workout classes, I am available most days to care for your home and pets. Since I work remotely when I do have work, I will be home often to provide plenty of companionship and attention to your pets. I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, medication routines, and any other specific care needs your pets may have. The safety and well-being of pets is always my top priority. In a client’s home, I ensure pets follow their regular routines, including feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I keep a close eye on their behavior, ensuring they are comfortable and stress-free. I also make sure the home remains secure by locking doors, monitoring surroundings, and keeping hazardous items out of reach. Cleanliness is important, so I maintain tidy spaces, fresh water, and a clean litter box or pet area. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and familiar environment for pets while their owners are away.

I am also available to stay overnight to take care of your house and animals. My love for animals has pushed me to study to become a veterinarian technician. I also currently work at Berkshire Veterinary Hospital so I'm comfortable bringing them to the vet in an emergency. I am also able to medicate (orally or injected) your animals. I'm also comfortable cutting nails. I have the most experience with cats and dogs but enjoy taking care of all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaled. About: I acknowledge that routine is important with pets and therefore will mold my style to fit your pets norm. (This includes your rules for your pet, anything you are training them to do, and any medication). Before taking care of your pet I make sure I fully understand their daily routine to make sure their schedule isn’t thrown off. I have experience administrating medicine to pets. I also have experience giving baths to pets as long as their grooming supplies are supplied. Also I have taken care of pets for around 3 years and am very flexible as I want to make it as easier on you as possible. I am a teacher so I have all day to spend with your pup during summer months. Also during the school year, I get off in the late afternoon on Weekdays so I can be there to take care of your pup by early evening. I respect my clients space and I am also happy to take care of any additional things around the house (watering plants, bringing in mail, etc.) if asked.

I don't mind taking them on walks around the neighborhood and am happy to take pictures or videos of how they are doing. I am primarily available on the weekends but will make time for weekday evenings. I am currently applying to other weekday jobs and will update my schedule accordingly. I’m moving to Amherst on August 26th so I recommend not booking after this date. I will not be in the area I let my dog outside when he asks for it and keep a close eye on him. I also supervise all dogs outside, making sure they don't go into places they should not go. I will also provide baths when asked and can give oral medication.
