“I had been very anxious about going away for a long weekend with my family since we booked our stay a few weeks ago. Our boy Nicholas is now a senior guy and the last couple of years I've been too apprehensive about being away from him. I knew if I were to go he would need to remain in-home for his comfort. We decided to give Rover a try and after the very first visit Lori eased our worries immediately. She is so kind, thorough and provided as much love to him as we would if we were home. After each visit she sent wonderful videos of our boy enjoying his walks and offered reports on how he was on his walks and how he was eating/drinking. This was THE most wonderful service and cannot thank Lori enough!”

“Dakota was so good with our 2 dogs. They both have strong pray drives and the walking trails are thru the woods so it can sometimes be challenging to control them. They warmed up so fast to her and their walks together went really well. She always gave detailed reports of the walks and sent photos….I really like that ? She is a pleasure to talk to and she has a large dog of her own which gives her that experience that only dog “owners” have. I will definitely be recommending her to friends.”

About: Calm, experienced, loving, empathic and conscientious - I am your dog’s next best friend 🩷 I’ve trained Australian Shepherd’s since I was 13, reaching amateur level junior competitions throughout high school. Today I have two rescue dogs of my own - a border collie mix and a beagle /chihuahua/pit mix (lots of energy). Because of my two dogs, I hike everyday. I love spending time outside in nature with animals, and will be sure to keep your pup happy and healthy! I am an organic vegetable farmer during the growing season (April-November) and work seasonal odd jobs and non profit work when I am in the off season. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and love to walk/hike/swim/adventure at all times of day and during any weather. In my house, pets rule. We have done agility, obedience and scent training with both dogs so I have a lot of tools in my toolbox to keep a dog busy and occupied.

She takes the time out of her day to make sure they get plenty of attention and time outside to play. She also stays at our house when she watches the dogs and the house is always in great shape afterwards too. “I left my cat, Cyrus with Sally a couple of weeks ago for an impromptu vacation. I was a bit nervous to leave Cyrus as he has a rare neurological disorder and when he gets anxious he has attacks. However, when I came home from vacation a week later I couldn't believe how mellow and contented my cat was! I believe he would have preferred that Sally move in and take care of him. He never had any problems and seemed so well adjusted that I plan on asking her every time I have to leave. She is a marvelous house and petsitter and I'm happy to give her an excellent rating.”
