About: Calm, experienced, loving, empathic and conscientious - I am your dog’s next best friend 🩷 I’ve trained Australian Shepherd’s since I was 13, reaching amateur level junior competitions throughout high school. Today I have two rescue dogs of my own - a border collie mix and a beagle /chihuahua/pit mix (lots of energy). Because of my two dogs, I hike everyday. I love spending time outside in nature with animals, and will be sure to keep your pup happy and healthy! I am an organic vegetable farmer during the growing season (April-November) and work seasonal odd jobs and non profit work when I am in the off season. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and love to walk/hike/swim/adventure at all times of day and during any weather. In my house, pets rule. We have done agility, obedience and scent training with both dogs so I have a lot of tools in my toolbox to keep a dog busy and occupied.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13 years old, back then it was mostly drop ins but now I do overnights and walks for dogs or any animal that cant be alone at night! Many friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets and I can't wait to meet yours! I'm currently available pretty much whenever is needed. I have a lot of free time so spending time with your pets won't be a problem! If I am doing drop-ins or an overnight stay I will do everything I can to keep your pet's routine the same as when you are home! Of course, I'd love to take your fur baby on a walk as well!

We hired Amaris to take care of Max, our one-year old golden retriever puppy. He was given walks and his daily feedings on schedule but she included additional time for outdoor activities that were well suited and thoroughly enjoyed by our very active puppy. Her thoughtfulness not only extended to Max but to us as well! She sent pictures of their activities! I would highly recommend Amaris as a pet caregiver!”

She takes the time out of her day to make sure they get plenty of attention and time outside to play. She also stays at our house when she watches the dogs and the house is always in great shape afterwards too. About: Since I was five I have worked with my dad on training dogs. I have been accustomed to walking feeding and doing anything I need to do to take care of dogs and make sure they have a good time. I do not work and spend time at home with my own dog and would love to help out someone else and their dog and make sure their dog has a good time I will pick safe routes to walk and be mindful of glass and other dangerous items on the pavement while walking and I will do my best to keep your fur baby happy and enjoying spending time outside.
