She carefully followed instructions for drop-in visits Our pups, Cashew, and Ziggy enjoyed her visits very much they and felt comfortable with her from the beginning. She provided special care for Cashew, our older dog, who required additional medical attention. Ruth left the dog food area and dishes, clean and tidy. She was in regular contact with us and sent pictures almost every day. Upon our return, we found a thoughtful card left by Ruth with a “thank you for trusting me with your pups” message and a small sketching of each of them. We will definitely hire Ruth again. About: I grew up loving 3 dogs and although I've never had a dog of my own, I've always aspired to be a great dog uncle for my friends and family. I have experience walking, feeding, and taking care of dogs from puppies to over 100lbs spanning from days to weeks. I work from home so I can spend the entire day with dogs I babysit. I also live in a communit that has a dog park and I can easily walk my pet friends as often as every hour. About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for 5+ years since my business allows me to work from home. I love being outside so friends and owners appreciate knowing their pups will get some exercise and enjoy themselves! I’m an Online Fitness Coach for business professionals/entrepreneurs. I work remotely so I have open time to care for your dogs. I’m very into fitness and staying active so I’ll bring them on my outdoor adventures (walks, runs, hikes etc)! I live in an apartment with a balcony so your dogs will always be in view. My complex has a dog park with other normal parks walking distance. I can crate your dogs as long as it’s provided and they are trained. I stay local every day so always have time to check on dogs even if I step out. If I’m getting outside for exercise, they’re definitely coming with me!

Despite ultimately choosing a different position (education), I was able to spend one year while in high school working as a kennel attendant at a fast paced veterinarian clinic where I cared for dozens a pets boarding with us and assisted doctors with basic care tasks. Additionally, I have owned three cats in my life and three dogs, all being cared for and spoiled tremendously. Being a teacher, I’ve spent twenty years working in the structured, caring environment. and I bring that same patience and attention to every pet I care for. I understand that every dog (and cat!) has their own personality, routines, and needs and I take the time to get it right. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I focus on making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you have peace of mind. I’d love to meet you and your pet!” I work weekdays starting at 7am and am typically home before 3pm. I’m happy to board pets during the week as long as they’re comfortable being alone for that window of time. On weekends and holidays, I have full availability and can give your pet my complete attention. I’m also off during June and July, which allows for much more flexibility and extended care during the summer months. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like family—getting plenty of walks, playtime, attention, and care throughout the day. Your pet will be treated like family at my place, with lots of love, attention, and care. I own my home in a quiet neighborhood with a small dog park and easy access to walking trails, so there are plenty of opportunities for safe walks, playtime, and fresh air.
