About: Hi there! I'm an experienced and loving caretaker for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets: including chickens, horses, and even the occasional bunny! I don’t do this for the money, I truly find joy in playtime, long walks, and making sure animals feel safe, happy, and loved. I must’ve been a dog in a past life! My background includes work as a supplement advisor at a health food store, where I gained experience with holistic remedies and supplements—including CBD—to help pets with anxiety, pain, and general wellness. I now work remotely in environmental sustainability, which gives me a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood perfect for long walks or runs, and your pet will have plenty of love from my partner and animal-loving friends while you're away. Whether your pet needs cuddles, structure, medicine, exercise, or just good company, I’ve got it covered. A couple of notes: I’m not able to accept bookings in homes that use synthetic air fresheners or otherwise strong/harsh scents (unless it can be unplugged or not used beforehand) as it disrupts my ability to be comfortable! I generally prefer stays longer than a single night but will consider one offs especially for repeat clients! Thank you for understanding. NOTE: I am still taking bookings in Asheville, NC - I will travel to you! I am currently living with my partner in Charlottesville VA I happen to work remotely from my computer with a schedule I determine myself. So I am very flexible and able to give lots of attention. I know it can be nerve wracking for your pets and I always meet your pet where they are. I understand that all pets are different with varying emotional and physical needs. I am very empathetic, understanding, and attentive when it comes to adjusting my care per animal. I am active person and love to take dogs on walks but if that’s not their jam, I am happy to curl up with a book on the couch with them.
About: when you choose me as your pet sitter, you have nothing to worry about. I care for all pets as if they're my own. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I am available at any time if you need me. i'm currently available for the following services: housesitting, pet boarding, drop in visit, dog walking for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and one on one dog training. if your dog is with me, I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly. We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. I would focus on other activities that are more suited to your pet. I also take a lot of pictures and I am constantly in contact with you so you don't have to worry where or what we're doing. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
