About: Hello! My name is Naomi and I am a native of beautiful, San Antonio, TX. I love being active with my Schnauzer mix, Ziggy and our hound mix, Hendrix. Both dogs are rescues from local organizations and are my babies! I have years of experience owning dogs and walked dogs for a few years between working for different law firms as a paralegal for my full time job. I like to take my dogs to McAllister Park and sometimes Hardberger. I want to join Rover because I love meeting new dogs and people (but mostly dogs ;) ). When I cared for pups in my home, I looked forward to seeing how my own dogs interact with different dogs because it gives me an insight into my dogs personalities' and what they like/dislike socially. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I currently have a full-time job as a paralegal for family law firm Monday - Friday. About: I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, Guinea pigs and bunny’s as a pet sitter and as an owner for about five years. I am finally going to college to start my journey towards being a vet. I was a vet assistant for over a year. I love all animals and I am very gentle towards them and I treat them carefully and with respect. I worked at a veterinary clinic near Alamo ranch currently. “My wife and I can't say enough about how happy we were with Mercy's care of our three puppies while we were away on vacation for the holidays. We have three 4month old puppies that were too young for some pet hotels (vaccine requirements and size limits) so we decided to go with a at-home pet sitter. At first we were a little worried about having someone staying in our apartment but after seeing that Rover does background checks and meeting Mercy face-to-face, we were very sure about having her watch our little puppies. We did an initial meet-and-greet so that the puppies and Mercy could get familiar with each other and they instantly connected with each other, our puppies loved her. Being first-time puppy parents my wife and I had a lot of care instructions (probably more than necessary) but Mercy had no problem with following them all, especially cleaning up their accidents around the house (still working on their potty training). We also had puppy cams set up, which Mercy was fine with, and we could see how much fun everyone was having and how well Mercy was taking care of our puppies. When we came back, Mercy even took the extra time to clean up the house and do the puppies' laundry. We will definitely hire Mercy again and already have thought about having her do drop-in visits for days when we have longer days at work. Mercy is great and you can be reassured that she will take care of your pets for whatever you need.”
