Pets have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and made sure my children did as well. I’ve had a wide variety of breeds too, spanning from German Shepard’s, wiener dogs, basset hounds, and more so I’m familiar with various breeds their different needs!

Anthony was great. He was very communicative, took good care of my dog, and when my trip unexpectedly needed to last an extra day, he even was flexible with me and let me extend for another day. I would definitely book again.
Anthony is wonderful. He came to assist in normalizing home visitors and was so patient and encouraging despite Fritzy barking at him. Fritzy ended up warming up to him enough to take treats from his hand! (It takes Fritzy awhile to warm up to stranger, especially at home, so this was a huge win!) Thank you so much Anthony!
RyeLee’s Hotel Room Adventure with Anthony went just marvelous. We looked on Rover for a companion for RyeLee when we wanted to go out for the evening in San Antonio. From hotel pool in afternoon, I figured out a workaround in Rover system that met our need. I booked Anthony as an overnight sitter even though we needed just a few hours. We told Anthony to keep the extra as a tip. It was a bit risky, booking when Anthony had only one review. It paid off big time. Anthony arrived on time. His questions and comments revealed he had read up on RyeLee’s details in Rover. Anthony sent photos while we were out, showing what RyeLee was doing. RyeLee had special treat while we were out, not only a companion but a playmate. When we returned, as we chatted with Anthony, RyeLee was playing games with him with blanket, yak bone, and chew toy. The next day the hotel bellman reported that during the evening he saw RyeLee pulling the “dog walker” around the hotel property, meeting and greeting humans as they went along. RyeLee had a special play date while we were comfortable on our date knowing that RyeLee was at our hotel with Anthony. Five stars.
Anthony is the best person to care for your furry friends!! He is extremely reliable, a great communicator, has great time management, and loves animals. He is so compassionate and responsible so I have no doubt he'll take care of your pets with extreme care. He's my go to person anytime I need someone to watch my dog and he always sends me updates during my time away. You will be more than satisfied choosing Anthony!

Hello! My name is Anthony and I want to help take care of your pets! I’m retired and I figured what better way to spend my days then taking care of dogs! Over the last 13 years we had 3 family dogs—a Chi-winnie, a Basset Hound, and German Shepard/ Lab mix. With having 3 very different dogs with very different needs, I am experienced with a variety of needs for different animals. I’ve cared for a variety of dogs — all ages, all breeds, all needs. Some of which have included a dog with separation anxiety. I am hoping that I can be of help to you with your pets and their individual needs.

I’m currently at home 24/7 as I’m retired. I’m almost always available to take care of your pets and give them my full attention, even on short notice. I will never have to divide my time between them and a busy schedule, so you’ll never have to worry about that! I have a family member who is allergic to dogs so I can only offer care in your home. However, I am happy to care for your pets in your home and give them my full attention as well as care for your home in any way you need :)
A typical day
A typical day spent in my care would consist of me and your pet having a lot of quality time together. Based on their needs and interest, we can be as active as they like or as lazy. For high energy pets, I would prioritize getting a long walk in at their pace (walk, jog, or run.) and a few shorter walks throughout the day. For lower energy pets, I would prioritize playtime in house or good scratches and cuddles, but making sure to take them out for a quick walk and/ or trip to a park . And for my antisocial pets, I would prioritize making them feel comfortable and safe in their space while giving them the autonomy to sniff and get some peace and quiet. Regardless of their interests, needs, wants, or social preferences, I can accommodate any way they prefer. I’m home majority of the time so I can provide maximum attention to your pets! I send plenty of picture and notes during walks and updates and photos at the end of the day for house-sittings and pop-ins, so you will always have an update on your pets :)
