“Cerys is awesome! I've booked her twice and will book her again for sure. From the second she met with us during the meet&greet, I could tell her and Diesel were bonded. She was receptive to all the information and "quirks" that Diesel has and worked with her. She didn't take the shortcut and just take Diesel to the park. She ran her as far as Diesel wanted to go. Diesel is so happy to see Cerys anytime she came by for a walk.”

About: I have personal experience with cats but have watched several family members/friends dogs when needed. My children pet sat and I would accompany them. I love to learn about what makes them unique and I truly love to walk them. I work part-time from home so I have a lot of flexibility. Heavier schedule the 2nd-15th of the month. My children are grown and live out of time, so I have a lot more extra time. Since we have an older cat living with us, I would need to dog/cat sit at the clients house. In an emergency, I could see what I could do.

“Jordan came over for initially a one day, 3 walks with my dog Zeke and he absolutely loved her. At the end of day three I ended up asking her if she could do a last-minute addition for the next morning, and she was amazing and super accommodating, you can tell Jordan really loves the dog she works with and got some of the most best photos of my pup!! I would recommend her to anyone I know and will be booking again, Zeke gave two paws up ?”

“Ana has been doing a great job walking Mabel and taking her to the dog park. She does a really good job, and we will continue to use her moving forward. Thanks Ana!”

About: I’ve walked neighbors dogs when they’re out of town and have visited dogs to feed them and let them out. I’ve also had a dog my entire life. I can walk or visit dogs anytime of the day. I can also pet sit. I’m on summer break so I’m very flexible with my hours. I make sure they are fed on time and get their proper meds on time. I also play with them and like to take them on walks.

About: Began working in animal hospitals when I was 12… love caring for fur-babies! I hold a doctorate in a public health field & a degree in animal sciences/pre-veterinary medicine (was accepted into multiple veterinary schools). I recently moved, & saw an opportunity to return to caring for animals. I provide what I looked for when I used sitters for my pets: reliability, responsiveness, & and animal lover. Happy to play with active pets, patient with those who need to warm up, & love cuddling the couch loungers. I have experience with animals from birth to senior years & various health conditions. I follow your directions as you know your pet(s) best. From cuddles and walks to surgery and inpatient care - I have experience. In addition to working in pet hospitals, I have had my own pets, from small to very large (other animals in photos… Rover is only for dog/cat/housesitting & I have to abide by TOS). I look forward to bonding with your fur-family members so you can relax with the assurance your pets are in good hands. Hablo español (Costarricense) I am currently 100% dedicated to caring for your fur-babies. My daughter lives on her own (in college), so there are no children or pets in my home. This is my daily & weekly routine :) I follow your instructions for your pet(s). I am adaptable. There is a mini dog-park here & lots of green space for walks! I’m happy to provide a more comfortable experience for your pets while you’re away than traditional boarding via housesitting, boarding, & drop-ins. I recently moved to the area so am in an apartment (and why boarding large dogs is a case-by-case basis), but also am a homeowner, so understand entrusting your home to a house-sitter. Safety & a good experience for your pet(s) is my priority.

“Melissa was so sweet and spent quality time with bogey! She was very thorough and it felt like she gave him extra attention which made me feel better about having him home all day.”

About: Hi my name is Mia and here is a little insight on me! I am currently a student at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte studying for an undergrad in Kinesiology. I have petsit since I was very young and have taken a passion to working with animals. As I’ve grown being able to be in the position to meet and interact with all different kinds of pets has been very rewarding. Seeing as this is something I do in my pass time I consider your pet as a apart of your family and provide them with the same care I would a child! Any thoughts or concerns please feel free to contact me and I will gladly reach you as soon as possible. 🦴🐾 As for my availability this season is it’s wide open. With being a college student my times are super flexible when not during class periods. That being said I have plenty of time for your wonderful pets: 🐾 walking services 🐾 drop in visits Each animal is different! A statement I breathe eat and sleep by, with that in mind I tend to communicate with each individual client to get a better understanding of them and their pet. Using this consistent method of flexibility has allowed me to create tons of long term relationships with families like yours!

“This was our first experience with Rover and I don’t think it could have been better. April is great! She came as scheduled, took our Maggie for a nice, long walk, sent me a report card with photo and left a happy dog for me to come home to. April will be our “go to” sitter and walker from now on!”

“Nicolle was great! I had a mishap with my house key not working but she was understanding and kind enough to come back a different time to walk our Maverick. Truly appreciated that and her for sending pics of him after their walk. Will use her again in the future ?”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. From a young age I helped to take care of my family’s dogs and even worked for a dog groomer in high school! My wife and I currently own a very sweet dog named Samwise. I was previously working as an engineer but I am now starting my own business! As a result, my schedule is flexible. I am available any day of the week with occasional exceptions. I love animals and care for them with patience and kindness. I will treat your home and your pets with respect as if they were my own.

About: Over the years I’ve cared for dogs in one way or another such as pet sitting, check-in’s and in home day care. When caring for the dogs they have my full attention for play and exercise. I am currently dog walking and checking in part time during the day. If needed I am available on Saturday or Sunday with advance notice. I currently have two Boston Terriers between the age of 3 and 6. They are my furbabies. I’ve not met a dog I haven’t loved. I’ll bring that same attention while checking or walking yours.

About: Dog mama and animal lover all my life. I've been animal and house sitting for years. While I am with your 4 Legged family member they will have all the cuddles and kisses. They will be treated as if they were my own. I currently have the flexibility to make my own schedule that works for my clients. I am a morning person and typically up around 6am. I can do overnights if needed if location is within a 10 mile radius. I would have to go home and handle my dog before spending the night. When I am watching my neighbors dogs and house the 3 imps have full access to everything they typically have when their Mommy and Daddy are home. If they are outside I'm typically out with them. I don't like to have them roaming in the yard without supervision.

About: Hi, my name is Anna and I love animals. I have always had a liking and always had pets. Mostly grew up with cats. But in my adult years and after tragedy, I have learned just how emotionally supportive and deserving animals are. Through connection, I have learned how to care for each pet specifically tailored to their personality or needs. I have a great client book and would love to show your pet some TLC while you’re out of town or away. I used to volunteer at the Humane Society, but have not found the same amount of free time lately because of life. So I’m looking to get the same fix. I truly do believe that pets have a lot to do with happiness and companionship. I’ve grown a love for pets and now feel like I can easily bond with any animal. I can’t wait to meet your animals and take good care of them! I do work a full time job but care about animals and their well being just as much as I do for humans. I have made time for each animal I have cared for, keeping them on as best of a schedule as possible. I take pride in making the pets I care for feel comfortable, whether I am at my house or theirs. Playtime is my favorite, as well as napping together if necessary or allowed.

About: I have 2 doggos myself, one cavapoo and a German Shepherd mix. I guess you can say I have experience walking dogs of all shapes and sizes! I work a full-time job, so this’ll be my part-time job. I'm available some mornings, most evenings, and afternoons. The morning can vary based on my full time schedule! I have two dogs, a German shepherd and a Cavapoo. I keep them active by walking them 3 to 4 times a day. I make sure they get plenty of exercise and stay hydrated in this hot weather!

About: I have over a decade of experience caring for dogs, beginning with my own pets and extending to the senior dogs of close family friends. I’ve successfully trained both of my dogs from puppyhood and understand the unique needs that come with each stage of a dog’s life. What distinguishes me as a sitter is my genuine love for animals and the attentive, personalized care I provide. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I also understand how important it is for owners to feel at ease while away, which is why I provide regular photo and video updates to offer peace of mind and keep you connected to your pet. As someone who works remotely with a flexible schedule, I’m able to thoughtfully plan my day around pet care needs. This flexibility allows me to prioritize dog walks, drop-in visits, and other bookings throughout the day. Whether it’s a mid-morning walk, an afternoon check-in, or a last-minute request, I’m often available and can adjust my schedule to ensure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets—whether I’m visiting your home for a drop-in, taking your dog on a walk, or welcoming them into mine. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, and I always take time to ensure they feel safe, respected, and at ease. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard and multiple dog gates to help create a secure and adaptable environment. I also have one dog who is very friendly and well-socialized with other dogs. However, I’m fully prepared to keep pets separated if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your space or mine, you can trust that they will be looked after with attention, care, and a calm, structured environment.

Piper Glen Estates dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kelli walked my dog Charlie while I was out of town. She communicated promptly, asked thoroughly questions, and was not daunted by his big puppy energy. I also really appreciated that she looked up the weather ahead of time and we adjusted walk times accordingly with the heat index. She arrived on time and he returned a happy & tired dog ready for his morning snooze. The next time I’m out of town and she’s available, l’d definitely book Kelli again!

Delaney has been so great with my dog Dexter!! She has walked him numerous times over the past couple of months. She always sends such detailed reports and pictures which I greatly appreciate! I would highly recommend her if you’re in need of someone to walk your pup!
