“Lisette is amazing! This was the first stay away for our puppy and we were rather nervous. But after we met Lisette we felt very comfortable leaving him. She truly loves dogs and has a pot of patience. Our dog had a great stay at her beautiful and well kept place. She offered him so much attention. Lisette also gave us so many tips on how to train our puppy. She is truly a gem and we are beyond happy to have found her and highly recommend her. We can’t wait to use her in the future.”

“Sabrina did a great job caring for our two dogs! She was communicative, paid attention to all the little details with caring for them and sent several photos and videos throughout the stay which put our minds at ease. Her little pack of dogs also made friends with ours and made them feel comfortable as well. Would definitely board them again at her home.”

“Sharon is a great dog sitter, and I was especially blown away by her consistent and immediate responses to my messages. This allowed me to plan and modify plans seemlessly (which was important since I was going on a camping trip without cellular service). Their house also has a wonderful yard which was important since I have a hyper golden retriever. All in all I would definitely recommend Sharon as a dog sitter!”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“Michelle is awesome. Lucille has now stayed with her twice and had a great time both times. Michelle even puts up with me changing the pickup times on her at the last minute. She also frequently sends pics & videos to let me know Lucille is doing well. I couldn't ask for someone better for my doggo to stay with when I'm out of town.”

“We had to board our 6 month old giant reman shepherd puppy for the first time this last weekend, and my husband was more nervous than he ever was with a sitter for the kids ? I found Sara and saw the number of repeat clients and the way she wrote about her self and her services in the blurb on rover and was sold. We were still a little nervous, as our puppy is very much a puppy, and does not realize that she is nearly 70 pounds! Keeping her down when she’s overly excited is a feat, and she has knocked me off my literal feet multiple time. She is a lot to handle at the best of times, but Sarah assured us it would be no problem. When we arrived, we ran about eight minutes late, and she was so kind and patient with us, despite us bringing a doggy diaper bag that probably could’ve lasted our pup two weeks ? any nerves we had or apprehension quickly dissolved upon meeting her. She sent pictures of Klara having a great time, and the next day when we picked her up, she didn’t want to leave! I would, and have, referred her to everyone I know with a dog. We will definitely be using her services again, Klara misses her already!”

“Denise and her girls were fantastic with my pup Archie. She kept me updated everyday with pictures and videos! She even made homemade treats with her girls for Archie. He got to take a bag home. So happy with Denise, I will definitely be leaving Archie with her again.”

“Thank you to Michelle and David for watching Clover for the weekend. Clover got to sleep on a bed (instead of in her crate‐ yes, it was okayed!) and had a doggy friend her age to run around with. I think she enjoyed herself!”

“This is my second time using Rover and I couldn't be happier! I'm pretty sure Tucker didn't even want to come home after his stay at Walee's. He had an absolute blast running around her huge yard with her dog Ike. As I type this, Tucker is still sleeping on the couch after a solid 3 hour nap. I would absolutely recommend Walee to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog!”

“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. Thank you Sara- you are the best!”

“My dog was well cared for by Jen. She is experienced and understood what he needed. When I returned he was relaxed and playful. When I came to the door I could see him walking freely in the family room. He looked happy. I am grateful for the good care he received. Teresa”

“Gina made leaving my dog behind so much easier! Moxy felt right at home the moment she met her. Gina went above and beyond taking care of her- walks, rides, snacks and so much attention, plus she kept me updated the whole time. I cannot express my appreciation enough for Gina and highly recommend her services.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
