“I think my cats like Auntie Beth more than they like me 😂 she brought them fun toys, a crate to play hide and seek in, and a big ball of yarn. She fed the birds outside the window so they would have something to look at. She assimilated so well with them while I was gone, keeping to their routines and patterns. She left the house in a better condition than I did. The communication while I was away was perfect. I never had time to wonder or worry. She even kept my plants alive for me! Thank you Beth!”

Each dog has their own personality and quirks, and she took the time to get to know each one and ask questions ahead of time, and specifically asked for written instructions and other info to be left in the home - the sign of an experienced dog sitter! She sent candid pics of them along with updates and I never worried that my pups weren’t happy and living their typical best lives. When I arrived back home, they were happy to see me but wasted no time running outside to play…they showed zero signs of anxiety and didn’t even seem to miss me all that much! Elizabeth clearly took great care of them and showed them all the affection they’re accustomed to getting! Great communication throughout the entire process, from the initial interview until I arrived home from my trip. Excellent all around, and I’m tough to impress!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages with medication administration! I’ve been helping family and family friends with their furry companions since I was 16 and had my own vehicle! I do work a full time job, but I am more than willing to be with your pets before and after work hours for feeding and long walks and even sleep overs if needed! I have my own fur baby! About: I have been pet sitting for families for over 10 years. Families have asked me to feed, bathe, walk, give medication and play with their animals. I grew up having dogs, cats and fish, so I feel very comfortable taking care of them. I very often stayed at people’s homes while taking care of their animals. I have also been a families dog walker. I am currently a full time nanny. I am free early in the mornings before 8/9 and after I get off work around 5. Completely free on weekends. I do not personally board pets at my own home but am very careful and aware when going into a families home. I try my best to make the animals feel loved and safe. While providing them the best care I can provide to them.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own that I love to death. I also have experience with special needs dogs such as ones with epilepsy. I also currently help at critter cuts letting dogs and/or cats out and taking care of them at nighttime and when they are closed to the public. I currently work part time at my other job and have plenty of time to tend to other animals and still be a mom and fur mom. Will stay outside with the fur babies rain or shine to make sure they stay safe and pay attention to everything they may do. If special needs then I also look at for any warning signs of trouble so that the issue can be immediately addressed

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.

About: I have had pets all my life, even trained most of them. I often run into pets who I am told never let anyone pet them but they’ll even let me pick them up sometimes! Currently taking online summer classes so my schedule is open for the most part. Ideally I would hosue sit and just study during the day! I would cater to each clients needs and ensure that there is a checklist of what needs to be completed for each pet so that nothing is missed

About: I've had dogs in my care for the past 20 years, from puppies to seniors. I have cared for them all. There is just something about being around dogs that brings me joy. I work from home full time, so taking care of your fur baby is easy for me. I also have my own pup so I'm sure they would get enough play time in. I have a fenced in yard and one very active 3 years old (spayed) female fur baby that is a ball of energy. Note, dogs must be dog friendly to come chill with us. My dog Willow is very submissive and loves other dogs.

About: I was a stable manager for many years, grew up on a farm in Bertie County with lots of animals, and am truly a caretaker at heart. I know first hand how important it is that your babies are safe and well cared for while you’re away. The most stressful part of travel to me is having to leave my dog behind! I had such a great experience with Rover, that I decided to sign on myself. I’m also a full-time property inspector, so I’m trusted to go into people’s homes daily. I’m very accustomed to having the responsibility for keeping everyone safe and their homes in good repair. I work 9-5 on weekdays here in town (Washington), so I’m available mornings, lunch time, and evenings for walks or drop-ins, plus I have weekends and holidays free I provide play time, exercise, and snuggles or hang out time, depending on your pets’ energy levels. I follow your feeding routines, administer meds, and accommodate your pets’ current schedules.
