“Rachael did well with my shy Lilikoi. She came out and didn't hide the entire time I was gone which she has been known to do. She looked more comfortable during her times alone between visits, playing and zooming around when normally she just pouts under the bed that I am gone.”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I have always taken care of my family's and friend's pets when they travel both cat and dogs, staying at their house or bringing their pet to my home. I had taken care of feeding and walking but I also had a cat who was diabetic, and I was able to manage his blood sugar and daily insulin injection for many years (that cat was mine). I have experience with young dogs, adult dogs and senior dogs more than puppies, but I have done some training of puppies my dad has had over the years I do work Monday through Friday 9-4 but work from home with frequent breaks and my teenager does online school so there is always someone home with few exceptions (when she has dance and I take her and pick up but only gone for about 30 min several times a week. I am free on weekends, so plenty of time to give your fur baby as much attention as needed. I live in an apartment, but we have a dog park area on property which allows space to run. I am also open to taking to the park or long walk if that is preferred I always ask the dog or cats routine at home, so I can ensure that I am duplicating that in my own home. So, I typically follow their routine from walks to feeding schedule including administering any medications and/or supplements. My dad's dog would get very scared of thunderstorms so during summer, I would have to be mindful of pending weather to ensure that she was given medication at right time

“Very happy to have found Dawn! She's caring and loves your babies like her own. Dawn was great at documenting Cashmere's glucose level (patience to get the blood draw is necessary and she was and gentle as well) and administering his insulin .... just all around very detailed in her notes and very appreciated! She sent pics too! Dawn moved any packages inside the house and was kind enough to water a plant outside when we didn't get much rain. We appreciate her detail and genuine care and highly recommend her! Thank you SO much, Dawn!!!”

I'm also no stranger to helping feed pets their nasty medicine as well. I'm currently looking for a job as I've just moved down here! That being the case, I've got plenty of time (with almost an entirely free schedule), to walk and play with your pups! I have met dogs and cats of all energy levels, from pups that have high energy to those who like to make their daily rounds before plopping down for a nap. Whatever their needs are, I am happy to comply. Their comfort and enjoyment is my top priority!

About: Hello! I’m Sue, and I’m excited to offer dog walking and drop-in sitting services for your pets. As someone who has had dogs and cats all my life, I bring a lifetime of experience caring for pets, both my own and others’. I currently live with a lovable crew that includes a Maine Coon mix cat, three dogs (a Tennessee Walker Hound, Chihuahua terrier mix, and dachshund mix), plus a few goats and chickens. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve provided drop-in care for birds, goats, and chickens, so I’m comfortable with a variety of animals. I also have experience giving medications to dogs, and I’ve given pills to both dogs and my own cat, especially since my dog has health issues that require regular medication. I am committed to keeping clear and consistent communication with pet owners, ensuring you’re updated throughout my visits. I also ask that you do the same in the event there is a question of care, or in the off chance of an emergency. With my own transportation and a flexible schedule, I’m ready to accommodate your pet care needs and provide peace of mind while you’re away. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pets are well taken care of! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered) friends. I do have a small farm to tend to, but am flexible and able to easily fit it around pet sitting. I can care for your pets daily, but holidays are very busy. Because I have a household of pets of my own, I am not able to care for clients pets in my own home at this time. I offer dog walking in 30 minute increments, drop in visits to check on, feed, dispense meds, tend to cats.

She always followed the instructions we left behind and also spent time petting Willie. We loved getting photos of him that she sent on her visits. The litter box was always cleaned and his dishes taken care of. Having a cat companion herself, she also had good suggestions and recommendations to make Willie more comfortable and at ease. We highly recommend her for her reliability as well.”
