“The best babysitter for my pups! They absolutely loved her. This was my first time ever leaving them or using this app and she made it so easy and gave me peace of mind. She made sure to be extra cautious with my beagles outside so they didn’t escape. You'll get constant updates and cute pics of your pups. You won’t find a better baby sitter!”

“Amber was great! Our pups and kitty loved her! She sent pics and text updates while we were away, and the house was super clean when we got back. We will definitely be using her again! (I think the pups really miss her!)”

“Kaitlyn did an amazing job and on short notice too. She came over before to meet and greet and was so pleasant and cheerful. Our fur babies were so well taken care of while we were out of town. She goes above and beyond and I so appreciate her. It made being away so much easier. Can’t wait to book you again our fur babies will definitely be well cared for.”

“I truly can’t express in a review how grateful and blessed I am to have found TJ 🙏…not only did he put our minds and hearts at ease with frequent videos and texts about the care of our fur babies while we were away, but he made our return a pleasant homecoming as our house/babies were just as loved and cared for as if we’d never left ❤️…so much appreciation for this incredible being and his service to the community 🙏…I can not recommend him highly enough ⭐️”

“Anna was absolutely amazing! She stayed at our house while we were away and went above and beyond every single day. She collected our mail, kept the house tidy, and took incredible care of our dogs. Our collie mix can be highly emotional and needs extra attention, and Anna was truly "the dog whisperer" with her — patient, calm, and clearly attentive to her needs. Both dogs were happy and well cared for the entire time. She sent lots of photos and communicated so well throughout the whole stay — I genuinely didn't worry once, which never happens when we travel! That alone speaks volumes. We can't recommend Anna highly enough and will absolutely be booking her again. She treated our home and our pets like her own. 💛”

“Kat was amazing! She’s not only just a cool person, but our dogs took to her immediately. We appreciate the communication while we were away - including pics of the pups lounging the day away. I will definitely book her again in the future.”
“Misty was great and Luna was safe and secure, happy and healthy when I arrived home. Finding a dog sitter on Memorial Day seemed like an impossible request so imagine my surprise when she accepted, arrived and did a great job. I highly recommend her!”

“Jordan was fantastic. She was attentive to our dogs and was also very friendly and professional. She gave us continuous updates about how they were doing while we were gone and was great with both dogs.”

“Casey did a wonderful job taking care of Murphy!! She communicates very well and sent great pics of our girl to send while we were away! We will definitely use her again and highly recommend!!”

“Susanna is simply wonderful at caring for my two special needs dogs. They are a lot of work, and she handles it with true consideration and love. She is calm, understanding, and experienced. I highly recommend her.”

“We had to leave Smoke for 2 weeks. It was not easy for me, but happily, I found Rhiannon! She took excellent care of Smoke and of the house. She even watered and looked after the gardens. Could not ask for a better sitter. We’ll be booking with her again without hesitation.”

“Eric was great! He took great care of our snuggly beagle and our home. Chester was at ease with Eric and we could tell that he got all the treats and affection to which he is deservedly entitled. We will definitely ask Eric to sit for us again on our next trip.”

“Brian was great! He communicated well, took great care of both our dog and cat (and the dog involved giving pills regularly!) - it was great to be able to away for a weekend and trust that everything was in good hands at home!”

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, I love playing, walking and just handing out with them! Also i know the hardships it takes. I am a very available person, I do have a part time job but other than that I’m very free. I usually work a few hours every other day. I love going on runs which I enjoy very much to take a dog on, this could be a short walk or a hike! I’m very active but always love bringing animals with me even if it’s just to get a pup cup or play at a park!!! I currently have 3 dogs, and I watch my sister dog on occasion. My house has a fenced yard of an acre letting the 3 of them run freely. I’m very much for making an outside environment for dogs. But also believe in rest time. I usually spend time watching tv with my dogs or just laying with them

About: I have had pets all my life. When I moved out I adopted a dog with reactivity and separation anxiety. I know first hand how scary it can be to leave your pet with someone not knowing if they can provide special care for your baby. Thankfully I am able to provide excellent care for all your pets needs (yes this can even include medication administration!). Other experience I have is volunteer work at the Lexington Humane Society, Fostering kittens with Lexington Humane Society, and having my own pets! I currently am in the process of becoming a dog trainer and I also am attending college for social work but my classes are online so I have a lot of free time! I offer things that other people can’t. I am experienced with special circumstances like diabetes care or reactivity. I have a calm but loving approach to my care that makes your pets feel safe and comfortable! I believe in positive reinforcement and science based training and care!

“Kaitlyn watched our three pups while we were gone for ten days. They absolutely loved her, and we are so so so grateful for her! She came over and met them ahead of time and we got to know who was going to be staying with our babies for a long time. She was great at sending pics & updates. Our AC even went out while we were gone, and she was very communicative and helped make sure the guys could come in and fix it. Our pups were her #1 priority and I know they can’t wait to have her back again :)”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 423 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Pinchem. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pinchem walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pinchem maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pinchem choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pinchem. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
