“Katie has been great with Indie, communicates very well, and is on time and flexible with our dynamic schedule needs so we are thankful to have found her and plan on making her our regular walker for the foreseeable future.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I am confident working with playful puppies, senior pets, and everyone in between. I am patient, outgoing, and truly love providing animals with the care and attention they deserve. I am a student at Virginia Tech, so I have availability here and there throughout the day! I am also available most evenings/nights for longer periods of time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. At my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, a walkable neighborhood for daily walks and fresh air, and a spacious deck that’s perfect for lounging and sunbathing. Inside, animals are treated like family in a clean, pet-friendly space with constant attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and space, ensuring their pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I’m originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, and currently a full-time undergraduate student at Virginia Tech living in Blacksburg. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a calm senior dog, I pride myself on providing attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working full time during the summer here in Charlottesville. However I’m free for walks before 9am and my work day is over at 5:30. I prioritize safety by keeping a clean, pet-friendly environment and following each pet’s routine closely. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure secure spaces, constant supervision, and lots of love and attention to build trust and keep your pet comfortable.

“Natasha was very kind and a wonderful walker. She took great care of my dog and was more than willing to continue doing walks with minimal notice to help me out. Natasha was always on time and always left me a review on how the walk went!”

About: I have 2 dogs of my own who i’ve taken care of since I was 10 years old. They are both very needy to say the least, so I’ve got experience with dogs that can be over excited/energetic. I’ve trained my dogs to do many things as well as my friends’ and family’s dogs. I recently graduated from Virginia Tech. I’ve decided to take gap year, so I’m free pretty much every day of the week and weekends for most of the time. I have a fenced in yard that i typically play with my dogs in, and i also take my dogs to tennis courts and parks to run around and have fun in!

About: I have worked at a humane society shelter as a volunteer for years in Michigan. I have fostered animals as well as helped dogs and cats give birth. I have experience with pet sitting and taking care of pets. I believe pets are our children. I have open flexibility and can give many references on how trust worthy i am as i owned a cleaning business here in nrv for 10 plus years licensed and insured. While at a clients home I will make sure the home stays cleaned up from the pet and goes on its normal scheduled walks and or care. While the pet is at my home it will have its own personal area that is kept well and it won't interact with our cats. Walks and playtime will be included.

About: I absolutely love dog and house sitting! I have house and dog sat for up to four dogs at once and been around dogs all my life, there is nothing I'd like to do more! I grew up around lots of dogs and started out my love for dogs early. I continued by getting my own dog and by house and dog sitting for friends and family. I continued to do this throughout college and into my adult life as a counselor, but expanded to house sitting for other people in the area with dogs. I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs and am currently training my dog to walk on a leash and different manners. I've worked with dogs of all types of personalities and love them all!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds and sizes since I was 17. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to their pets. I will ensure that the pet keeps their routine to the best of my ability if applicable. I always try to ensure the pet gets a walk at least once a day when I am watching them. I consider myself to be very patient and creative when working with pets. I work full-time but would be able to make home visits before work and any time after work. If your pet needs more visits during the day we can discuss our options. To ensure safety on walks I am very responsible to make sure your fur baby is leashed up before exiting the home or fenced area for walks around the neighborhood. When in a clients home I will ensure your fur babies safety by leashing up your dog in the home before going on walks and following your guidelines as requested. If any questions come up I will be calling or texting to ensure all requests are met in an appropriate manner.

“Gillian got back to me right away about a last minute request for dog-walking and saved the day. Will definitely use her again and recommend her to others.”

Deann B.
“It's always stressful trying to find a new pet sitter and feel comfortable enough to leave your fur babies with someone new. Deann helped put our nerves at ease by meeting everyone in advance, spending time giving each of our babies some love, and bonus: her husband is also an animal lover and sometimes helps her with her visits! Our animals took to them both immediately! Also really appreciated the check ins, updates, and photos she had for us daily during our time away. Definitely made the animal care part of being gone much less stressful! Thank you Deann!”

Sarah R.

“Sarah was so helpful, had great communication, and my dog took to her well. Would not hesitate to book again!”

Breeane M.
“Bree is responsible and loving. She has had many pets of her own and she often takes care of my dog (the longest being one week). I highly recommend Bree!”

“Nikki is a hard worker with a knack for reading canine body language and emotions. Nikki's calm presence keeps even the most anxious dogs at ease. She has been around dogs for 20+ years and has the added bonus of training her own personal dogs in multiple types of dog sports such as frisbee, flyball and obedience. But dogs aren't her only specialty! No, Nikki is unique in that she's had experience with the whole gambit of pets you may have in your household all the way down from a rat or mouse to something as large as a horse in your backyard. Nikki will always go above and beyond to make sure an animal is always taken care of in the best way possible - whether they be her own or a client's. I highly recommend Nikki for any of your pet sitting needs!”
