About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, so caring for them has always been something that feels natural and special to me. My love for dogs grew even more when I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, which is where I truly discovered how much I love working with animals. I’ve had hands-on experience with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, including lots of puppies and senior dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog is different, and I love taking the time to learn their personality, routine, and what makes them feel most comfortable. I treat every dog I care for like they’re my own and always want them to feel safe, loved, and happy while their family is away. :) I’m a full-time student and involved in my sorority, but I’m very devoted to making time for my clients and their furry friends! I’m happy to work pet care into my schedule and come by to give your pets the attention, love, playtime, and care they need. About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. I was a dog breeder for many years but no longer sell but i still wanted a job surrounded by dogs I've been around and taken care of small dogs all the way to extra large dogs.Im very equip and your pet would be in good hands! I had a pitbull for 12 years and I had to learn how to train him and work with him. So im also experienced with more energetic dogs. As he got older I had to give him his pills every day. I don't have any dogs right now but would love the opportunity to care for yours! I would devote as much time as needed to care for your pet! My schedule is open and I would work around yours. Taking care of your pet would become my job. I would care for your pet according to the clients instructions. I would make sure the pet is hydrated and has plenty of water. They would have plenty of food. They would get lots of love and attention.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
