About: I have always had dogs and currently have bunnies too. I volunteer one morning a week at the animal shelter when I'm physically able. I have trained six of my own. Also enjoy creating enrichment and providing interaction for those who benefit from it. Happy to give your pets company for a short while. I am available to do drop-ins for up to an hour or two in the mornings or early afternoons including a potty break. Depending on the dog and the day, longer walks may be available. Dependent on demeanor, I can provide company outside or inside with as much attention requested, a short walk, or play session. Automatically thresholds will be respected for exposure to triggers. On-leash will include practicing loose-leash walking, lots of sniffing, and some impulse control. Play will include the toys and/or treats provided at the pups home.

About: Fostering puppies, horses, and birds was a family job growing up. I have experience in taking care of sick, recovering, and aging dogs. Both my dogs currently are 11 years old, so I know how stressful it can be trying to find care for them. They require more frequent restroom visits, focused care on comfort, and overall more time and attention. I can help with that! I've trained both dogs, have experience with training puppies, and can manage high or low energy animals. I'm currently in college full-time. Most of my days are spent studying on campus, which means I have a need for some fur therapy! I'll gladly walk, feed, and play with your pets as much as needed. Non-verbal cues are essential to building trust with animals. I do my best to pay attention to how my own pups communicate through head position, tail, eye, and mouth movement, as well as general body language. I'm a stranger to your pup, so I'll be sure to act carefully until they're comfortable with me. I know how important a routine is-my pups are getting older, and the more they age, the more they want to stick to a schedule! As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for your animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when considering me as your sitter for your pets! :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for the last 4 years. I’m new on rover after just moving to WA. I’ve watched family, friends and neighbors pets and I really enjoy getting to know other pets. I would prefer to have the weekends off but I can make exception. :) My two dogs at home I feed them every morning around 9 am and I let them out in the yard and play with them to let out there energy and from there I let them out every 2 hours. :)

About: I've taken care of of family pets since at least 8 years old, I've trained puppies. Ive always loved animals and I've had Dogs, Cats, and Reptiles. I've never missed a feeding time for any of our pets. I make sure to feed our dogs in the morning and the night, or whatever schedule has been asked. But I have plenty of free time for playing with my animals. Well I love to walk so dogs always get enough exercise, and I make sure to groom my dogs monthly, and I make sure to feed all of my pets well enough.
