“Storm was very delightful to work with. Our Bella has attitude with many people, but she was very accepting of Storm from the start. It is comforting to know we can enjoy our vacations and have a responsible caring care taker for our house and furbabies.”

“Cara is amazing! Super accommodating to the needs of my senior dog. I don’t trust many people with my animals but I don’t worry when they are with Cara. Book with her and you’ll have a trusted sitter for life. Thank you Cara!!!”

“Kim was great and my fur babies seemed to love them! She was very responsive and answered all communications quickly. I will defeintly use Kim in the future to help me watch my babies.”

“I was really worried when I had to find someone to care for my cat, Pippin, last minute but Ami was quick to respond and was an amazing help. And Pippin really seemed enjoyed the attention that she gave him.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years now, including my families pets and my friend’s pets including dogs, cats, and even goats. Currently I take care of my German Shepherd dog at home, feeding in the morning and night time, letting him outside, and playing with him. I take care of pets gently, when playing with them if they are young and energetic i will play a lot more with them than older pets.
“Leslie agreed to meet the dogs before her first visit and is very understanding of their different needs. She gave them more time to play than I expected and was patient with my fearful dog. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! We’ve always had a family dog…from Boxers, to Dachshunds, and tiny Yorkies too! There’s nothing better than sweet snuggles and fun with the pups! I’m also a “Dog Aunt” to my brother and sister-in-laws 5 awesome pups-Walker (Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix), Max & Marley (brother+sister litter mate Australian Shepards), Merritt (Standard Poodle), and Mavis (Cockapoo)! From tiny to large pups, I love them all!! I’m a full-time Respiratory Therapist and absolutely love what I do! I’d love to be able to spend some time with some awesome doggies in my free time and on off days! :) I have a fenced in yard at my house with plenty of room for the babies to run! I have a 2 year old Yorkie Poo.
“She was so great to our 3mo pup who had to come on vacation because she’s still too young for boarding. She was easy to communicate with, came to our cabin, and was very kind to our babe.”

“I can’t even say how much I appreciate Megan for doing drop-in visits for my dog. I felt so much trust and relief knowing she was in such good hands and being loved on. 10/10 recommend.”

About: We have had all types of pets growing up that I have cared for. I have been dog sitting for years for family and family friends as well. I am a college student with a flexible online schedule!! I am available to sleep over if your pet needs overnight company as well. Message me and I can work around whatever your pet needs. Feel free to check out the pictures I have up on my profile of the animals I have taken care of:) I feed and give water, clean up after as needed, go for walks and play. I love taking them to the dog park as well and have a safe vehicle if that is an option you are willing to trust me with.
About: I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter who has cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I’ve helped take care of many animals over the years and am comfortable with feeding schedules, bathing, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I’m patient, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I work part time so it’s easy to book with me for bathing, drop-ins, dog sitting, dog day care. Please note I do not trim animal hair. My schedule is pretty flexible: 9am-7pm/Monday-Friday. I travel to owners home, I try not to bring other animals to my home due to me having very energetic dogs that don’t get along well with others.
About: I’m experienced in walking and playing with dogs in the evening. Don’t stress about leaving a dog in my care. They will be in excellent care and thoroughly entertained. I’m available after 5:30pm Monday thru Thursday. I have more flexibility on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a part-timer on Rover. I can walk, fed, and entertain your pet to make sure they are satisfied. My home is unfortunately not suitable for boarding pets on the regular. I am able to stay with the pet overnight at their home upon request.
About: Hi everyone! 😊 I’m offering dog walking and drop-in pet visits in the area! I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and always take the time to learn what each pet needs to feel happy and safe. I have three pups of my own, a female corgi (the boss who only likes people), a male shepherd mix who thinks he’s in Paw Patrol 👮😂🚓), and my beagle mix boy who is the sweetest and tries to follow his little nose and run away on an adventure every chance he gets!). So I totally understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can potentially help out with last-minute needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, or just someone to check-in and give them some love, I’ve got you covered! I’m happy to stick to your pet’s normal routine so they stay comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Feel free to message me with any questions, I’d love to help take care of your fur babies!🐾 I work from home doing art and freelance graphic design and my husband and I run a mobile coffee shop on the weekends. I cook for my dogs about once a week, take them on walks and hikes and for drives around the neighborhood when the weather is bad...they love it. I paint commissioned pet portraits and my coffee business is called Sleepy Dog Coffee. Dogs are in literally every part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love cats as well! I just don't have any currently. My shepherd mix is a tad aggressive with them so that's for the best right now! We have two fenced in areas for dogs and a large house that is pet friendly. We designed the house to have a dog shower and heated/ac pet sleeping room in our garage where we keep their crates but sometimes they sleep in our bed!
“Kaiden did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our dog while we were away. He even took one of his dog blankets out of his car to give to our dog because hers got wet. Kaiden definitely cares about the animals he is taking care of!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
