“This was the second time we've booked Sammi for drop-in visits with out two cats. Everything went as expected. Sammi is prompt and patient which is important with one of our cats needing medication. She also provides great communication and photos which makes it easier being away from my two babies. We will be using Sammi again in the future.”

“This is our 2nd booking Savannah and she does a great job! As long as she is working for Rover, we will book her. She’s consistent, flexible, and goes above and beyond to help take care of our cats while we’re away so we don’t have to worry about them.”

“This was the second time that Taylor has taken care of my kitty, Jemma. Jemma absolutely adores her which is a hard accomplishment because she’s so shy! I always get pics, videos, and updates about how she’s doing and how much she’s eating. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby!”

“Arabella was great! She was conveniently close to where I lived and was amazing with my pup Leo. She also was helpful and willing to clean his crate out when he had accidents. I know that’s expected/part of the job but still can not be fun obviously.”

About: Animals were my first passion since I was very young and their welfare continues to be something I care deeply about. I studied veterinary medicine in college and have experience working in an animal hospital. Therefore I have been trained to administer any medications or special dietary requirements as your pet may need as them. I have been pet sitting for over 4 years now as well and love meeting new animals! I am a full time student so my schedule is not super flexible, but I am available all day Saturday - Monday, Fridays after 11 AM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5 PM. I understand that pets thrive in their schedules and will do anything I can to fit into their routine as it is. It’s very important to me that you and your pet are as comfortable and relaxed as can be in your time apart, so I am very open to any requests regarding regular safety or care routines. I will take care of and attend to your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved.

“Christine filled in for our regular pet carer and did an excellent job. Pleasant and flexible, she covered care for our cats and fish (including pond fish) and a couple last-minute unexpected minor tasks. We would recommend her highly to anyone seeking a loving and competent pet carer.”

“Kiersten was reliable and had great communication while she watched our cats for the weekend! She even cleaned up the watermelon that exploded on our kitchen counter—ahhhh thanks, Kiersten! 😅 Would definitely hire again.”

“Jacqueline did a great job feeding and loving my two cats while I was away! The shy cat even came out to say hi to her! The photos she took of the cats were great to see.”

“Payton checked on our cat while we were away and I can’t thank her enough! She took care of all of Bean’s needs and I could tell in the pictures she sent that Bean was excited to see her every time. She was polite and conscientious; I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Thanks to Kira, my new kitten was able to have socialization and not be lonely while I was on holiday. Kira was very sweet with Tinkerbell and was kind enough to send me pics every visit. Kira was consistent in her responsibilities and communication. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to others.”

About: I’ve looked after animals since I was two years old. Growing up on a small farm in Ohio, I learned to care for an array of species. From goats and guinea pigs to dogs and cats, they all hold a special place in my heart. I have experience taking care of all ages, young and old, as well as animals with special needs. Now that I am pursuing a degree and live in Morgantown, I pet sit for friends as well as care for my own cat, Kodak. I’m excited to expand my pet care services to the community of Morgantown and provide quality care for your fur babies! I’m currently working part-time as well as in school full-time, so weekends work best for me! I’m available to pet sit most weekends, but I can normally be flexible with weekdays as well. On weekends, I’m able to spend the majority of the day with your pets to ensure they receive all the love and attention they need while you’re away. I can stay overnight if that is needed as well. I can easily crate dogs if requested and follow your care directions to the t!

“Allie was great! She came to meet my crew (cat, hedgehog, fish) a week before her stay and was super personable and nice! She did a great job taking care of my crew and sent me so many pictures of my guys! Highly recommended her.”

“Megan did a great job at keeping me at ease while being away from my cat. She kept me updated on how he was doing and I was so glad to see he warmed up so quickly to her. She extended her visits without a second thought when my plans changed.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 8 years old, volunteering at local shelters and helping family, friends, and neighbors with pet sitting. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, including senior pets—my own pup is getting older, so I understand the patience and gentle care they need. I’m also comfortable with basic grooming tasks like bathing and brushing. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I treat every pet like they’re family. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and take seriously. I’m currently out of school with open availability after 10 AM and on weekends. Even when school resumes in the fall, I’ll make sure pet care fits into my schedule. You can count on me to treat your pets with love and attention. I do not board pets in my home, but I’m happy to care for your pets in their own familiar environment. I offer in-home pet sitting, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day as needed. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, and I strive to create a calm, loving environment where they feel secure and cared for. You can trust me to treat your pets with the same love and attention I would give my own.

Ava R.
“Ava has pure compassion you know that’s soon as you meet her. She has had animals her whole life. She has taken care of both my dogs and cat many of times. She did exactly what I told her needed done. She is patient and kind. One of my dogs is very anxious and she was able to handle him and he trusted her. She is one of the few people I trust with my fur babies.”
Pierpont cat parents share their Rover experiences
I am so happy I tried Rover and found Megan to care for my cats while away for 2 weeks. It is evident she cares about animals and is very attentive and compassionate. Her communication was excellent and she went above and beyond, ensuring the cats were comfortable and sending photos and videos. I have a shy cat-she came over for a meet and greet and then worked hard to establish trust with him while she was dropping in. I'm so appreciative and will 100% request Megan again for future trips.
