I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company. About: Hello! My name is Maria and I am very excited to meet your furry friend! I’ve raised 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs so I am comfortable with any size pet. I also worked at a doggie day care center where I worked with all size dogs for 8 plus hours at a time and facilitated friendly play so I am able to handle multiple dogs or cats at a time! I live in the mentor area but am willing to travel as well. Please let me know if this is the type of sitter you are looking for! I work as a nurse so my schedule is pretty flexible. I care for my own pets with walks, park visits, swimming, agility and lots of playing. I am always cautious when taking care of pets in my home or another persons home. I understand that allowing someone into your home can be nerve racking so I am always sure to communicate as much as I can with home owners and follow their specific instructions to ensure the visit goes as smooth as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i had my first dog in the first grade. A white Samoyed. When she was 3 she has 7 puppies! I was obsessed with them. We sold 6 and kept one. So we had 2 big white Samoyed’s that I had the responsibility of raising and attending to. They were my whole world. I’m always the first to be asked to watch someone’s dog because if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s loving on dogs. I now have a mini dachshund who i love so much. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, little dogs, and senior dogs. I’m able to train puppies and care for senior dogs who would need more help in their day to day activities such as meds, frequent potty breaks, and patience. I also had an internship with the lake humane society in high school and have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs/cats who could use some extra love. I am currently a stay at home mom with my 8 year old who is in school and 1 year old who both love dogs I figured i could help out some dog momma or daddies who aren’t able to be home with them all day. I am able to let your dog out every couple hours. And even take them for brief walks. We have plenty of dog toys to share, bully sticks (while supervised), treats, and extra dog bowls if needed. My husband is a realtor so is home most of the time if i am not. I crate our dog at home when we leave. I also have a camera just in case to make sure she’s okay while we’re gone. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

Indoor and fenced in outdoor play areas. as well as a community dog park that we visit regularly. We encourage our guests to bring personal items from home to help them feel comfortable during their stay. Pick up and drop off available. Our goal is to minimize the stress on both you and your pet during your time away. Our guests enjoy regular family interaction during their stay. We treat all guests as we do our own 4 legged family members, when they are here they are part of our family. Regular photo updates throughout the stay to share fun activities and new friends being made. Our guests enjoy regular daily family interaction, indoor and outdoor play time and exercise while they are with us. We do use traditional kennels for sleeping.

I live in a house with a yard and lead an active lifestyle, so your dog will get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention based on their needs. I’m attentive, patient, and reliable, and I always aim to keep your dog comfortable and cared for while you’re away. My current routine is mainly focused on keeping up with grad school. I am enrolled full time in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at John Carroll University. I have classes 3x a week for 2.5-3 hours. This would be the only time I would need to leave your pet(s) alone. I live in a 2 story home within walking distance of a park suitable for dogs. I do not have any personal pets in my home. If you are looking for me to host, I live alone so it would just be your pet(s) and me. I will be respectful of not having guests over when I am caring for your pet(s) to ensure they’re given proper attention and feel comfortable in their environment. I have a partially fenced back yard and my front yard is not fenced.

Amanda updated me and sent me photos throughout the day! They have their house set up so they can separate the dogs if need be, and she took them out one at a time so as not to have them wrestling around in the wet mud, etc. I appreciate that! ☺️ I can tell Amanda and Aaron love dogs- we are so thankful! ?????”
