About: I’ve had pets ever since I was one. I’ve babysat family and neighbors pets before. I’ve taken care all kinds of pets! From birds, reptiles, cats and dogs and even some pigs and chickens lol. I am a stay at home wife so I can babysit any day of the week! I do go on hikes every Saturday though, so if you’re comfortable I could take your dog for a hike. I live an apartment that has a potty station, a balcony, and even a bathing station. And there is plenty of room for walks here.

About: From working at animal shelters, doggy daycare/boarding facilities, to working as a vet tech/oncology vet tech, I have been working to create a life of making sure that all pets have the happiest and healthiest life that they can! I am able to give your pet the care they need, whether that be administering medications, tiring out a high energy dog, or just making sure that your cat feels safe and comfortable when they're around me. Getting to work with animals has been a big part of my life that has brought me joy and I pride myself on being as patient and compassionate as I need to be to help them stay happy. There isn't a better feeling than getting a nervous pup to warm up enough to want to sit with me, or getting a spicy kitty to be comfortable enough to give me head-butts and licks. I can guarantee you that if you decide to bring me into your pets life, they will be shown as much love as you give them on a daily basis! I am currently home all day and would like to spend that time with your pet! My goal is to be more active and there is no better way to do that in my eyes than playing with animals. I have an open schedule and am willing to work with yours as long as there is clear communication and instructions given! I come prepared no matter the situation and bring an extra leash plus a variety of high enrichment treats. My goal is to always ensure that the pet is comfortable and trusting of me and I will always go at their pace. I am familiar with most harness types and have experience with training animals if that is something you want me to work with them on. I can give medications to both dogs and cats including, pills, liquids or injections. I am skilled in understanding animal body language and behavior and know tips and tricks on how to help keep them at ease. I also understand that I will be coming into their comfort place, so I will ensure that I am as respectful of their boundaries as I can be.

“Melia was able to walk my dog while I was out and he had a great time! Melia provided photos of the walk and was also able to accommodate feeding him after the walk, which was a huge help for us! Thanks Melia!”

About: I've grown up loving and taking care of animals my whole life. I've always been around animals for as long as I can remember. From hamsters to dogs, I've never met an animal I didn't like. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. I currently live with four cats whom I love very much. I'm a very patient, empathetic person who believes that animals deserve the utmost care and respect just as a human being does. Your animals are in great hands! I'm currently a college student who works part time, but I’ll always have plenty of time and energy to give to my animal friends! I'm a very available person who would love to make pet care apart of my weekly routine. I believe that the best care can be given through respect of the animal and the client's home. I take pride and care in all that I do and taking care of your animal is no exception. I will make sure to follow any instructions given for care and love your animal as if they were my own! My hope is not just to care for your animal, but to create a relationship with you and your pet!

About: Hello! I am 29 years old, a current graduate student at the U and part-time cat sitter/dog walker. I have a ton of experience in pet care and have been doing Rover since 2017. My interest in becoming a pet sitter/dog walker was because I have a huge passion for animals and as a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it is to be away from your beloved pets and putting your trust into someone to care for them isn’t always easy. Steady communication and constant updates will help ease some of those worries. I take advantage of the various features of the app to always keep owners in the loop! BACKGROUND: Growing up in the country, I was taught the responsibility of owning a pet at a young age. Living near farms, I owned and was exposed to lots of different animals and pets. I’m familiar and comfortable around all breeds of dogs and animals. I am also familiar with ecollar technology and have experience with dog obedience training. I typically reserve time in my mornings & evenings for drop-in visits and walks. During the summer, I am far more flexible versus during school year. I am always extremely cautious, I have good attention to detail and my surroundings. I treat & respect your home as if it was my own.

About: Hi, I’m Abi! I’ve always had a big heart for animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a cuddle buddy, or just someone reliable while you’re away, I’ve got you covered. I live a super active lifestyle, so your pet will never be bored with me. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and quirks, and I totally get how nerve wracking it can be to leave them in someone else’s hands. I’m here to make that easier. I’ll keep you in the loop with updates and make sure your pet gets all the attention, playtime, and care they need. I want you to feel totally at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. I work a restaurant job, so my schedule can vary—but I’m almost always available for pet care in the mornings before 10 AM and in the afternoons from 3-4 PM. On days I work at night, (not too often) I’m typically at work from 5–9 PM, so I’m free earlier in the day. I do my best to stay flexible and will always communicate clearly about my availability! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I stick closely to each pet’s routine and follow any instructions you leave. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure things are left just as I found them. I always keep a clean, pet-safe environment and stay alert to anything that might cause stress or harm to your pet. Communication is key and I’ll keep you updated so you can feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I grew up with a Papillon dog, walked dogs, cared for dogs/cats at other peoples homes (including family and friends pets), I have also boarded dogs at my own home. I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs/cats. Many people have relied on me to go on very long walks with high energy dogs, but I have also helped people who have furry friends that like to relax on the couch! Currently, my schedule is extremely flexible! I can walk doggies between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. I am also flexible with the type of walking your dog prefers. Walking around the neighborhood, hiking, or running all work with me! I do not have a yard, however I make sure any dog I care for gets plenty of exercise from walking, playing fetch, or going to the dog park!

About: Hi! I’m Erin. I grew up with all sorts of animals ( lizards to chinchillas and birds) and live a super active lifestyle. I’d love to meet your pup(s) and take them for a walk or even a hike, and don’t worry I love cats too! I work remote so I’m home pretty much all the time and am available for last minute bookings and long term out of town visits! I love going on hikes and runs and take my pups to the sugar house park all of the time! Working from home makes it easy to fit pet care into my schedule! I’m off early in the afternoon every day and live close to parks and walkable trails :) I will always follow the pet owner’s rules! If there are any questions I’ll ask the owner first, leave the house the way I found it if not better and of course, make sure the furry friend is feeling happy and safe!

“Chloe has watched and walked my little dachshund, Uzi many times. She’s super caring and patient, she’s very responsible and took care of all my dog’s needs. Would definitely recommend!”

Marissa M.
“Marissa is so great with both of my pets and all of our mutual friends pets as well! I would trust her to take care of my dog and cat for a pro longed period of time as well and just to walk her for me if I didn't have time one day. Marissa has accompanied me on many visits to the parks and dog parks in our neighborhood and is always so friendly and comfortable with all dogs regardless of breed or size. She also does awesome with my kitten who is very tiny (we found her at 5 weeks old), I would trust Marissa in an instant with her. I've commented to her before how comfortable my dog seems to be around her and it warms my heart because my dog can be skittish around people so I know she knows, Marissa is a safe person. She is also just a trustworthy person in general, I do not believe personally that Marissa has a bad bone her body- she is just so sweet all the time! We really love having her as a friend to us and a friend to our pets.”

Abigail A.
“Abi is a loving, caring individual who my cats naturally gravitate towards. Last year I went on a hiking trip for a week and immediately though of her to watch my cats. I was in the woods for a week, no service or signal. I was stressed at first to not get any live updates about the cats, but Abi offered to send me little videos of them playing together and daily (sometimes hourly) updates about them and what they were up to. It brought me so much joy to check my phone at different rest stops and have all the updates on how my little ones were doing. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or just a good scratch, she approaches pet care with reliability and attentiveness.”

Sydney H.

“Sydney did a great job with our 2 pups! Sydney took time to meet and get to know our American Staffy and lab mix, both rescues and with their own quirkiness.”
