House Sitting in Pell Lake

“I had a mandatory business trip and my pet sitter fell through fairly last minute. My 6 year old cat, Ollie, has separation anxiety (I rescued him from abuse when he was 6 months old) and he is not used to being alone for long periods of time because I work out of the house and am home most of the time. While he's friendly, he's not super snuggly or interactive with strangers; he just needs someone to be 'present'.  We had a meet-and-greet prior to booking the stay- She asked all of the pertinent questions about his personality and daily routine (Charlie, my 21 year old cockatiel, is easy- LOL). I was rest-assured things would work out so I booked the stay.  Deanne was wonderful with both Ollie and Charlie. She sent me updates throughout the day and plenty of photos letting me know they both were doing well (although I could tell in a couple of the photos Ollie was a little sad... But that is completely normal- As long as he was eating and following his regular routine I knew he'd 'survive'). This also helped me not stress out or worry about my pets and be able to focus on my trip / business dealings and that's honestly also a big part of traveling for me.  I arrived home, and while I know both Ollie and Charlie missed me, everything went right back to normal and that's what told me Deanne cared for them very well. She also was very respectful of my home and kept it clean during her stay. I'm very glad I found her and will be using her services again. I highly recommend Deanne to care for your pets!”

About: I have had multiple pets over the years. I have watched my neighbors' dogs and have supervised friends and familys' pets when they were working and/or on vacation. On summer break, there are only a few days this summer I will not be free. Mornings and afternoons are great, but I am very flexible. I don't currently have a pet, my family and I just recently moved to Lake Geneva, once we get more settled in that may change.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and cats as well. I’m a huge animal lover! I’ve had golden retrievers, pit bulls, Rottweilers, and a mini golden doodle. We currently have a 3 month old Golden Retriever! I’m currently a Stay at Home Mom to a 17. Month old little boy and a 3 month old Golden Retriever! So I’m available all the time! My son is a huge animal lover already and will be joining me on check ins and walks so please keep that in mind! Your pets safety is my first priority. They will get plenty of love and play time from myself and my son! You’re pet will be treated as if they’re my own!

“Chris was great! I highly recommend her to watch your pets. She came over twice before we actually left, first for a meet & greet, and then as the date got closer she came by again to go over routines/directions. I really appreciated that second visit, closer to our vacation, to put my mind at ease. Chris was great with my dogs, and one of them has a lot of energy and some interesting quirks, but all went very well. I received daily communication and pictures. She followed the routines very well and reached out with any questions. She left the house was tidy, as well. I will be using Chris again and HIGHLY recommend her services.”

About: I frequently pet sit for my both my sisters and parents animals. One was a siberian husky, another is a dachsund/terrier mix and the others were a mixed hound breed and a poodle/bichon frise. I also petsit and did overnight visits with a previous professors golden retriever and golden/Irish setter mix. I own a small mixed breed dog (similar to a Jack russell)Russell, and grew up with a Brittany Spaniel and a West Highland White Terrier. I also have frequent contact with my boyfriends parents dogs: a dachshund, and a cattle dog. I work part-time currently, and am scheduled Wed, Thurs, and Fri, and the occasional Saturday. I am available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday all day, and mornings on Wed, and Thurs. I currently live in a condo so my small dog is ideal for the space. Since my dog is reactive to other dogs, I would be doing only clients homes overnights, visits, and walks.

About: I have had animals of all walks of life since I was a child. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, fish, bunnies and even a donkey. Animals have naturally been drawn to me and I have often been the only one to help an animal. I show all animals unconditional love and care. I have nursed senior dogs until they need to cross the rainbow bridge. I am available for early morning, afternoon and evening help. I work from home and have the flexibility to meet the needs of a pet in my care. I am not able to care for animals in my apartment. All services will be on site for the client and their pet. I will adhere to the clients wishes for their pet once we establish a relationship.

About: Your pet will treated just the same as my own 2 year old pup, Mochi. They will be treated when they are doing things positively, shown affection for good deeds, and praised when they listen. I am here to help you bring out the best in your pet & share with you what I observe during my time with them. All of our pets are near and dear to our hearts. I promise to care for them with respect, dignity, & compassion. If you would like your dog to have some extra social time with Mochi, he is always available for playing, chasing and sniffing. My goal with your pet is to help them learn to trust you more and give them a positive role model to follow.

About: I've cared for pets my whole life. I've kept aquariums, grew up with dogs, even raised two puppies in my time. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and do not want to track dandruff home, so I will not be offering services for cats aside from drop ins. I'm just a dad trying to be more active, make friends, and provide a service to the community. I love pets and I think they are an absolute blessing. For my fee I will actively exercise and play with your pets, teach them tricks or commands (if desired), and ensure they are pampered, engaged with, and given attention, rather than simply supervision. Ft dad, ft student, part time worker. Weekends, early mornings, and night walks are the best times for me to incorporate into my schedule. Weekdays are devoted to my family and studies, but for the right arrangement I'm willing to setup Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday commitments. How I care for your pet is entirely up to you, I will accommodate whichever preferences you may have. Every pet deserves to be played with, get exercise, and be well pampered. Rubs downs, brushing, bathing, I'm comfortable caring for your pet how you know best.

While I was away Josh sent several pictures of them taking walks together and playing together. They had lots of fun and Josh really focused on Diesel.
