She was more than accommodating with the weird schedule we had. I highly recommend Kristen and she even gave extra love to the additional indoor and outdoor animals (she was only responsible for one dog!). About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since I was a little girl. I’m offering to play with, walk, and care for your pets when you are busy. Throughout our time together I will send thorough updates as well as photos. I also have experience volunteering at a humane society, working at a vets office, and working at a grooming salon so I understand dog behaviors and overall care. I am doing this part time during weekdays and select weekends as I am a full time college student. I will be available as needed, as long as I have a few days of warning. I currently have one beagle with high anxiety and look after five other dogs of different breeds and sizes at varying times. I am invested in insuring your pet is comfortable and happy while also following any restrictions or rules that you have set forth. Otherwise its belly scratches, snuggles, and play time galore!

She does such a great job at keeping me up to do date on my pets while I am away and I have never worried that they would miss medications, that they would become anxious without me, nor would they not get enough exercise. You can tell that Riley is a true animal lover and is extremely patient and gentle with my elderly dog. I highly recommend Riley as a sitter.”

I work full-time as an insurance producer in Monroe, North Carolina from 8-5 Monday through Friday! I am home all day on the weekends, and during weekday evenings. I can modify care based on your pet's needs. If your pet prefers to be crated at night or is used to sleeping in the bed or on the couch, I am open to whatever you and your pet prefer!

About: I have always had a passion for animals. Up until recently, I was set on being a vet, until I realized I didn’t have the heart to be able to euthanize an animal. I feel animals and pets always hold a special place in people’s hearts and minds, and they never truly leave us. I’ve taken care of my own animals since I was five, but completely on my own since I was ten. I have 2 Great Danes, 1 German/Australian Shepherd Mix, 1 Lab/Chow Mix, and 4 cats. My animals are my passion and I would love the opportunity to care for yours the way I care for mine! I’m currently working part-time, and my schedule is very flexible. I can work around almost anything, as my animals schedules are pretty versatile and flexible as well! My animals are definitely living their best lives! My dogs have an entire completely fenced in back yard; about 1/2 an acre of land, and they run freely pretty much whenever they please!

“Jo has watched my horses and my dog several times. 110% recommend Jo! I have a difficult time leaving my horses because no one takes care of them as well as I do. Then I found Jo. She took care of my horses like they were her own. She followed 2 pages of detailed instructions and never skipped a beat. It was nice to be able to go on vacation and not worry about my bougie sensitive crazy horses. Jo has also come to my home in the middle of my long days and exercised my dog. She treated Kona lovingly and went above and beyond for her. Kona adores Jo! She also gave our rabbit attention and pets when she was there to walk Kona! It’s amazing to have a trustworthy person to hire when I need someone. It puts my mind at ease to have someone like Jo.”

About: At the humane society, I had the opportunity to care for dogs of all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique needs and personalities. Throughout my time, I also handled a variety of mixed breeds, each with its own temperament and care requirements. This variety kept each day interesting and taught me to adapt quickly to the needs of different dogs. Whether it was administering medication, providing enrichment, or simply offering a comforting presence, I gained a deep understanding of how to cater to a wide range of canine needs. I’m currently working part time, since I’m a student in college, I’ll be available to work around 1 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays around 2 pm. I understand how important your dog is to you, and I'm committed to providing the best care possible. I've had extensive experience with various dogs. I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide and keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos to ensure you feel at ease while you're away. Your dog's comfort and safety are my top priorities.
