“My daughter’s service dog had major surgery on his CCL. We always have to be aware of his training so as not to do anything that would damage the bond between my daughter and him. He is sensitive due to his work / seizure alert, balance work, behavior disruption and deep pressure. Since he is 100 pounds, we needed help a couple of times a day. Wendy was amazing. She jumped in to help us get him safely out and back in his first week post surgery - she worked with him with gentleness and sensitivity. Wendy was always there on time. We really appreciated her help and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again. Thank you so much Wendy!”

“Kristen is awesome and very sweet. She is quick and effective with her communication, and you can tell she truly loves working with your pet. She’s my first sitter and my dog has really bad anxiety, but yet she was still able to trust Kristen when dropping in. 10 out of 10!”

“Rachel was amazing! She cared for my cat like she was her own. Rachel sent me daily pictures and updates. Rachel stayed in my home with my cat and was the perfect house sitter too. She left my home in pristine condition. I would highly recommend Rachel!”

“Caroline R. was an awesome pet sitter for our cat that we left home for the 1st time. Caroline is very professional, friendly, punctual, and communicates very quickly to all of our messages. We can be a bit high maintenance at times, and she accommodated us perfectly. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve cared for cats since I was 8 years old. My friends and family know me for helping wild animals whenever the opportunity arises. I have a senior cat now. As a result, friends often turn to me for tips on how to provide extraordinary quality of life to their pets. I’m about to venture into graduate school, and am seeking a part time job in the meantime. Rover will ideally be additional income for me. I provide stability and routine—two things I find extremely instrumental in pet care. I keep a strict feeding regimen, schedule play times, and provide various opportunity for enrichment.

About: I’ve had my own dog for a number of years as a young child/preteen that I cared for and trained, with my mom and then on my own mostly. I also have watched pets for friends and family, one example being my boyfriends family who houses 4 dogs and a bird. I have abided to their preferred schedules, adhering to going on walks, feeding and letting pets out, staying on playtime and bed time schedules, and I have my own personal experience with having to give dogs medication and dealing with female dogs in heat. I do not have any pets of my own so I love to care for others and help out when needed. I tend to help out mostly on weekends when families go out of town but my work schedule has become more flexible and I am home majority of the time. As of now I only take pets in my home. I have lots of down time, so I am able to be attentive and around for whatever your pet needs. I live in a townhome so I don’t have my own yard but there is plenty of grass and space through my neighborhood to walk and play. I usually let the dog roam around my home just to explore and get comfortable. I designate a spot for their food and water and I am able to take dogs out for pee breaks whenever, depending on your dog’s schedule. I like to stay interactive and keep pets entertained, whether that’s going on a long walk, playing with toys, giving treats, or just relaxing by their side. I have also sent photos periodically and updated my clients in the past so they know Im available if they had any questions, and that their pet is in great hands. I allow pets on the furniture so if they have a habit of jumping on the bed or couch it’s not a big deal. My mom also lives in the home but she is out mostly for work, and also has vast experience of animal care. It is also a smoke free household

“Lisa was great. I never hired a pet sitter before and the experience was great with her. My cats were in good hands and I would hire her again the next time I need a pet sitter. She provided pictures every visit and I was very happy of the visits because it gave me a peace of mind.”

“Adrianna was a perfect fit for house sitting our 3 kitties! They were loved and well taken care of during our week away. Care included giving our diabetic kitty insulin at regular intervals each day. We will definitely call Adrianna again for future kitty care!”

About: Growing up in a house with a variety of pets taught me that animals aren't just pets—they're family. With a psychology background, I use positive reinforcement to bring out the best in every dog. I'm currently caring for my two middle-aged and senior dogs who need 10 daily medications, so I understand both puppy energy and gentle senior care. As a fellow pet parent and nature lover, I know how important it is to find someone who truly gets it. Your dog will get the same love and attention mine do—because that's what they deserve. I recently left my corporate job to seek a healthier lifestyle. I am in the process of building a business which gives me lots of flexibility to care for your dogs needs at any hour. Early mornings, mid-day, late evenings and even overnight! Just reach out and we will make it work! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities in their own familiar environment. I keep your home secure with doors and windows properly locked, and I'm mindful of any specific safety concerns you've mentioned about your pet or property. I stick to your pet's exact routine—feeding times, walks, medications, everything—because I know staying consistent helps them feel secure when you're away. It's just me giving your furry friend the one-on-one attention they deserve in the comfort of their own space. I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for mine. I'll handle small tasks like watering plants or bringing in mail, and I always leave everything exactly as I found it. You'll get regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and relaxed at home. With experience caring for my two senior dogs who need daily medications and close monitoring, I know how to spot when something's off with a pet's behavior or health. If any concerns come up, I'll contact you right away. Your pet gets the same attentive, loving care I give my own-because home is where they're most comfortable.

“Mackenzie did a wonderful job taking care of my elderly kitty who needs extra attention and meds. I almost didn’t leave over Christmas because I was so worried about him, but she eased my concerns with thoughtful care, attention to detail, and detailed notes. I highly recommend Mackenzie and will be working with her in the future.”

“I was most pleased with leaving my cats with Katie for 2 weeks. She came by twice a day to feed and tend the litter box. She was punctual everyday and gave the cats the attention they needed. I will definitely book with her again.”

Tiffany K.
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Tiffany Tlach for many years, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most caring and responsible people I’ve ever met—especially when it comes to animals. She has a lifelong bond with pets, having grown up with dogs and cats, and it’s clear that caring for them comes naturally to her. Whether it’s her own pets or someone else’s, she goes above and beyond to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and loved. She’s incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely in tune with the needs of animals. I’ve seen her handle everything from playful puppies to aging senior pets with the same calm, compassionate presence. Her reliability, kindness, and deep understanding of animal behavior make her someone I would trust with any pet, any day. If you’re lucky enough to have her looking after your furry friend, you can rest easy knowing they’re in the best possible hands. Warmly, Cathy T”

Paynes Corner cat parents share their Rover experiences
Amber is always available for my kitty Sasha, who loves the special visits with lots of cuddling from Amber and her daughter. Sasha really has a different relationship with them that fulfills her need for a larger family I need them to be a part of her life for as long as they can. ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend for special needs cats and cats that are by themselves. Thank you so much …

Nevaeh accomodated us last minute as we had a cancellation a few days before our trip out of town. She came to meet us and was very sweet and understanding of our rambunctious animals, including winged creatures. She was very communicative while we were away and took great care of our household during her check-ins. Will call her again!
