“Caitlyn was absolutely amazing! She stepped in on very short notice to watch and walk Echo over the last two days, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Echo was happy and well taken care of. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I truly appreciate her flexibility and willingness to help on short notice. I would absolutely book with Caitlyn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter or dog walker!”

“Mackenzie did a wonderful job taking care of my elderly kitty who needs extra attention and meds. I almost didn’t leave over Christmas because I was so worried about him, but she eased my concerns with thoughtful care, attention to detail, and detailed notes. I highly recommend Mackenzie and will be working with her in the future.”

“Amazing job. My dogs never even noticed we were gone. They were well taken care of, and I would definitely recommend Elizabeth to anyone in need of pet sitting services.”

“April is very easy to get along with and gave excellent care to our cat Miss Pepper. April sent me pictures of our feline at each visit and informed me of package deliveries. Upon my request she checked the water taps drip to ensure the water doesn’t freeze. I highly recommend her.”

“Amber is amazing , she always sends us pictures of the dogs and they are beautiful pictures better than we can take! She sends us constant updates and is always on time - we completely believe our dogs are so much better off with Amber than at the kennel”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Matisa was professional, reliable, and genuinely cared about my dog. Matisa provided regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear my dog was happy, well cared for, and received plenty of attention and affection. I came home to a relaxed, healthy pup, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Matisa again. Highly recommend Matisa to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pet!”

“Katie was very attentive and caring to our two cats while we were away. She made sure they were given attention and love and sent us details on how they were doing as well as adorable photos ❤️”

“Mandi is amazing! She came out to meet my timid chihuahua before our drop-in visit and was so sweet with him. She is very professional and clearly an animal person! We will definitely be asking her to come back soon. 😊”

“Girls are so happy when we got home!! Kaylee is amazing, followed all instructions, took great pictures. I will definitely book again, took all our worries away!”

“Mariah was wonderful with our fur family. She spent time with everyone and sent pictures of happy pups/cats to me daily. I could tell the dogs were happy since they kept bringing her gifts of everything they found on the floor. Even the cats who don't trust most people came out of hiding for her. I will definitely ask Mariah to sit again.”
“Aly was great to work with, very fast responses and made us feel totally comfortable leaving our dog knowing she would be stopping in to care for him. She updated me quickly to let me know how the visit went and how our pup was doing. We were first time users of Rover but based on our great experience with Aly, we will absolutely be using it again!”

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Krysalyn. She was so sweet and flexible with my schedule. I recently took a business trip and Krysalyn kept me updated while taking care of my dog, so I felt at ease. When I got home, I could tell my dog Tatum had a great time with her. She was even nice enough to check in on my roommates cat who is older and recently started having some medical issues. I would HIGHY recommend Krysalyn in the future and look forward to using her in the future. Thank you Krysalyn!!!!!”

About: "Looking for a sitter who truly speaks animal? I have spent my entire life caring for an incredible variety of pets, giving me the unique skills needed to handle almost any animal family. My experience includes giant dog breeds (English Mastiffs and Great Pyrenees), livestock (horses, chickens, and goat herds), and exotic reptiles. Today, I am a proud parent to a cat and two Holland Lop rabbits! Because I have lived alongside animals my whole life, I excel at reading their body language, vocal cues, and unique personalities. I am ready to provide a premium, loving, and safe environment for your babies!" I'm newly a father and am currently on paid family leave, and am available most days. My daily routine includes waking around 3am and getting the day started. I have several 2 hour blocks of time throughout my day that are not currently filled with any activities, perfect for caring for your pets! In My Home (Cat & Rabbit Friendly): Separate Zones: I maintain dedicated, safe zones for my resident cat and two Holland Lop rabbits to prevent stress. Exotic-Safe Space: My home environment is calm, secure, and adapted to handle specialized pet needs without disruption. Escorted Outdoor Time: Any outdoor access is strictly supervised within secure boundaries. In your home: Home Security: I strictly follow your home entry, locking, and alarm instructions to ensure property safety. Zero-Trace Care: I leave your home exactly as I found it, or better, cleaning up all pet waste immediately. Consistency: I mimic your exact feeding, walking, and crating schedules to minimize your pet's separation anxiety. Communication Expert: My lifetime of experience with giant breeds, livestock, and exotics means I actively read body language to prevent stress or conflict, and can quickly soothe an agitated pet. Daily Updates: I send frequent text and photo updates so you know your pets are safe, happy, and thriving. Emergency Ready: I keep your preferred vet information on hand and maintain a clear action plan for urgent situations, prioritizing your pets health above all else!

“Elisa was fantastic! I am so glad we found her! She came out prior to our vacation, to meet our cat and go over everything. She was more than willing to help with other things such as watering the garden and offered to bring the mail inside too (although we had "paused" our mail, since we were not sure of the ending date). Elisa spent time with our cat, playing, petting and taking/sending pictures and video. She made sure to note the pertinent information about feeding and litter clean-up. She was very flexible with the timing of our get -away, and adjusted accordingly. I cannot say enough about how happy we were with Elisa. My cat truly seems to miss her :)”

About: Hey there my name is Mae! my close friends and family would label me as “that” dog mom because I treat my dogs like family members. I always make sure they are living their best life ever and put their needs first. From making sure they are wearing appropriate cold weather gear, paw protection during long hikes or hot summer days, homemade treats/ice cream, meticulously organized medical binders to emergency go-bags. They are important members of my family and any dogs that stay with us will be treated just the same! I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and for the past few years (on & off) I started taking care of others in addition to my own. I recently completed my service with the Army but while I was in, I cared for friends & co-workers furry family members while they were away for trainings or holidays. I couldn’t commit to offering services on rover till now because I wanted to make sure potential clients and their humans could 100% rely on me. I have experience with puppy training, leash & crate training, special needs, seniors and care for dogs that have common chronic diseases such as diabetes, addisons, ect. (to include but not limited to, medication administration via oral & injection). Because one of my dogs has Addison’s disease, she has a strict medication regiment so if your dog requires specific daily medical care I can assure you I am incredibly diligent and they will be well taken care of. I’m also willing to negotiate prices if you’re looking for pet care aside from dogs and cats such as rabbits, aquatic animals, and amphibians. Though I’m not as familiar, i’m a quick learner and as you keep reading my bio you’ll see im incredibly thorough and have great attention to detail. I am currently a full time student with only online classes. The only times I really ever leave my home are for groceries, small errands and medical appointments, so i’m pretty much home 98% of the day. My significant other is currently attending a career course here at fort rucker and is usually home by 3pm so in the late afternoons/evenings there will be twice the love and 4 hands for scratches & cuddles. My family: I have three doodles, a 6yr old Labradoodle named Noodle, a 2yr old Golden Berniedoodle named Biscuit and a 1yr Yorkipoo named Tofu. All three are incredibly sweet dogs, Noodle likes to vibe by herself and does well with all animals (except squirrels). Biscuit is very energetic and loves to run and play but understands when other dogs needs their space from all her energy. And Tofu is our little parkour master, he loves to randomly speed race on our furniture in the house but then quickly run out of energy so he will take a power naps. My home: We recently moved into base housing at Fort Rucker, we have a chain link fence with a small backyard so not much for outdoor playroom. It has been an adjustment for our doodles since they are use to bigger spaces but we go on atleast 2-3walks a day depending on weather, and usually early morning runs. There is a basket full of toys outside and inside with also a closet full of blankets just for them. Dogs are allowed on the couch and bed unless you specifically request that I not let them. My home also has a full indoor/outdoor security camera system that I can monitor when i’m not home. I have an XLarge kennel that can be set up if your dog requires it. I also take only ONE client at a time so you can be rest assured that my family and I’s focus is on making sure your dog(s) stay is our priority. BOARDING: All dogs must be up-to-date on all their vaccinations and flea/tick. Proof will need to be provided prior to their stay. Meet&greet with all parties will be mandatory for their first stay so we can make sure everyone gets along! ***Dogs that have any issues with incontinence or marking will be charged the puppy rate $30 per night. I absolutely accept dogs that have continence problems however during their stay they will be required to wear a doggy diaper while inside to ensure cleanliness of my home. Failure to disclose incontinence or marking issues prior to stay I will reserve the right to terminate the service immediately and will coordinate with you, your emergency contact, or another sitter comes and picks them up. ***Trips to the store should your pet run out of food will just be the expense for the cost food and/or other items you request I buy (official receipt purchase will be disclosed) IN-HOME SITTING: While you’re away, not only will I provide love and affection for your animal(s) but i’ll also provide small house maintenances. You’ll be sure to come home from your trip to well watered plants, no extra dishes, empty trash, grab the mail, toys put away and light vacuuming so fur doesn’t pile up. You’ll receive daily photo updates/videos of all our adventures and naps! Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthy bio and considering my services. Please don’t hesitate to reach out even if it says i’m unavailable on my calendar. I try to be flexible and accommodate any situation you’re in- I’m sure we’ll be able to come to a compromise I hope to hear from you soon!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
