“Luke was extremely kind and has a nice fenced in backyard that Henry was able to play in all day. He was also very communicative and went the extra mile to make sure Henry had fun. I would highly recommend!”

“So glad Julie kept our dog for the week. The home environment was so much better than a kennel. We also appreciated the photos and communication throughout the week. We will schedule with her again.”

“Ellie was amazing! We had a last minute trip come up as well as cancelled flights and she was so kind through all the changes. She made sure we felt comfortable with Ember’s first stay there. Even though Ember was there for only one night, she came home tired and happy which showed how much Ellie played with her and gave her attention. 100% recommend Ellie for any dog sitting needs!”

“Our 7 month old lab had never stayed anywhere without us overnight but Clara’s amazing setup, calm and friendly presence, and the company of other awesome pups made it so enjoyable. We will be back again and again!”

“Debra was absolutely amazing! She truly enjoys dog sitting and it showed thru her genuine excitement to care for our Goldendoodle after our meet-n-greet. It honestly felt like leaving our dog at Grandmas. She took our dog in on Christmas Day and even got him a present. She even shared some of her Christmas dinner ham with him (after asking for permission of course). Debra genuinely loves caring for dogs. She sends updates and photos throughout the day. We’ve never left our dog with a dog sitter before and she put us at ease after meeting with her. We couldn’t be happier with the care she gave our needy and active Goldendoodle. We HIGHLY recommend letting Debra care for your 4 legged child. She will give them all the love and attention they can handle.”

“First time using this app or service and I reaaalllyyyyyyyy hit the jackpot for my first time!! Kathy is AMAZING, and so sweet and sent the best pictures and videos. I know my Puppy will miss her so much !! Thank you Kathy 🤎🤎😘”

“Jenai and Sean always take excellent care of our dog. This is the second time we have had them care for our Gully and this time for 2 nights. They send photos and give updates during the stay. Thank you so much for watching Gully again! It feels so good to be able to get to have a fun weekend once in awhile and know he is being well cared for and having a fun weekend too. 🙏🏼🥰🐶”

“We are so lucky to have found Heather! She gives daily updates of our pets and sends videos and pictures, which makes our time away a lot less difficult. She truly cares about our pets!”

“Krystal is wonderful with dogs and very understanding of their different quirks. She was able to help me out last minute over the Christmas holiday and I couldn’t be more thankful. I would definitely recommend her.”

“I wasn't sure how Pivo would handle being with other dogs, but was having a hard time finding a sitter who didn't have dogs who would be available for the dates I needed. I approached Trina even though she has her own dogs. She encouraged us to do a meet-and-greet in her home, and the dogs got along great right from the get-go! Trina and her family clearly love dogs, and made Pivo a member of the household. Trina learned the hard way what a bed hog Pivo is LOL! He came home totally relaxed and happy. Trina's a keeper, very easygoing, accommodating, and kind! Thank you, Trina!”

“Anthony was fantastic to work with! Communication was great. He clearly knows a lot about dogs and is passionate about taking care of them as if they were his own. Highly recommend!”

“Ruby just loves her time with Eva. Eva is patient and knows how to provide the best care for her. Ruby gets to have outside time with other animals and gets to snuggle. I will definitely be booking with Eva again.”

“Sydney was amazing! You can tell as soon as you walk through her door that her heart belongs to animals. I was so nervous leaving my old man with a stranger for the first time. But I got updates daily. He got to go on walks and get lots of love and attention. I picked him up and he was brushed and smiling. I am so happy with Sydney's service.”

About: I’ve owned dogs since before I can even remember and they all still have a special place in my heart. I have tons of experience with pet sitting, dog walking, belly rubs and ear scratches. My skin care routine wouldn’t be complete without dog kisses. I’ve wrestled huge dogs since I was 6, so no dog scares me. And if I get bit, it is what it is cause I still love that doggo. I’ll treat your pets like I would my own - which means they’re family. They deserve the world! I am currently available every day, all day. I’d love to turn this into a career so this will be my number 1 priority. I live at an apartment complex that is extremely pet friendly and has GREAT areas for walking and two fenced in areas where dogs can run. I also have a sliding glass door that goes out to a patio and yard area because I live on the ground floor. I can crate your puppets if needed or they can be free to roam around.
“Anna & her family were the best! My dogs (lab & schnauzer/terrier) loved all of the attention they got from everyone! Anna updated me multiple times a day with pics of all of the loving my girls received! Highly recommend! 5 stars!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Our pup Maisy had a great time with Madison! Maisy is a shy girl and Madison was very patient and helpful in getting her acclimated and introduced to the other dogs. She had a great stay and came home happy!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
