My home is calm and quiet, nervous dogs do great with me. My back yard is fully fenced; my back door opens into that backyard. Customized meals for every dog. Home and dog areas cleaned daily and sanitized weekly. YOUR DOG MUST BE FRIENDLY WITH OTHER DOGS and be 25 pounds or less! NO BULLY BREEDS I am retired and need to feel I am contributing to society in some small way. I love animals and they love me, so this is a good fit for me. I can care for dogs, cats, birds, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits, snakes, reptiles, raccoons and some small wildlife (depending on their needs) in their home or mine!

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

About: I have had animals in my house all my life and have always loved taking care of them! I grew up with cats and when we finally got our first dog we were inseparable. I went off to college and got my own animals to take care of for a couple years but I recently moved across the country with my husband and we had to leave our little friends behind with our families. My late childhood dog had gotten older as I was going off to college and lost her hearing and sight, so I'm well prepared to take care of animals that need a little extra attention! Between my husband and I, we are home all the time and available to care for your pet 24/7. We have a dog of our own, so caring for a dog is just a normal part of our daily routine. We have a large fully fenced yard, and our own friendly dog to help keep your dog company. Our home is dog friendly (no rules about furniture). We do have a large create if you prefer that your dog be created during certain times.

About: Dogs have been my life companions and I'm a dedicated caregiver. I have experience raising my own dogs from puppy age on through the senior struggles. I had a big boy for 12 yrs and a big girl for almost 15, who I lost earlier this year. I especially love large dogs and the sweeties known as "bully" breeds. I'm choosing not to have a pet again for a while, so I have extra love and time to give to yours! About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! As for my background and experience, as a youth, I began fostering animals for the SPCA at 12 years old, and then at 16 began raising and training guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I have been awarded volunteer and foster of the year both by the SPCA. As I got older. I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed, furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

Also, Jose communicated any changes in the stay. I appreciated that he alerted me to 2 dogs that would be joining that evening in advance of our arrival. I’m always nervous to leave my baby with someone new but Jose is the exactly the type of person I hope for when I do.”
