“Angelica and Jose were so sweet to Cooper. She sent lots of photos and videos and even gave him a bandana, a gift bag and a thank you card. Amazing service and their home was spotless!”

“We needed last minute dog care while traveling out of town and Cyd Marie did such an amazing job!! She was so sweet and friendly and the dogs loved her immediately. Her home is super warm and dog friendly. Couldn’t recommend her enough”

“Ms. Vely rocks! This was Coco's first full Day with Ms. Vely, so when she took command right away I was glad for that since she was a fresh face for my Coco to get used to over a long period of time. She is so wonderful and kind with doggies, I had no doubt she'd get my boy out of his shell. She updated us with photos and short videos throughout her time with Coco to show our little man was doing just awesome..... And the tongue hanging out the side of his mouth with a big toothy grin showed that she sure did get him out of his shell! Coco was even a gentleman doggie and made sure to follow her inside after every jaunt outside! Glad to have found Ms. Vely and glad to have her watch him again! You cannot go wrong with Ms. Vely!”
“Shelisha is such a kind person! We felt very safe leaving our 5 lb Shih Tzu with her while we went to a Detroit Tigers game. Her communication is excellent. She even sent us pictures of our Ruby while we were away. Very pleased!”

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.
About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. Thank you so very much.

“Jani was great with Junior. He only stayed with her for the day. He can be fickle in his old age but loves people. She did great getting him comfortable in her home and giving him attention but also his freedom when needed. I received constant pictures which is always great! Will use Jani again if needed!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I have worked at dog boarding facilities and various rescues over the years. I am currently a volunteer with a local rescue in Lakeland. I have three small dogs of my own, who are like my kids. I’m home most of the time so your pet will rarely be unsupervised but when I do need to leave the house, I have steps and protocols in place to assure your pet's safety while I am away. I have a 6ft privacy fenced back yard. All lawn care items are locked away in a shed to lessen the risk of your pet getting into anything potentially toxic. I supervise feedings and separate dogs, if necessary. I can also administer oral medications.
“Susan is always great with our puppy! He had surgery this week and she took the best care of him while I was at work. She is our go to sitter, and she is so flexible with my schedule!”

About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I STRICTLY KEEP ONLY ONE PET FAMILY AT A TIME - so I can focus on their personal and familiar schedule, happiness, and safety. I ALSO WELCOME SPECIAL NEEDS PETS, as I have owned and cared for many myself. Keeping your pet is a privilege and brings me great joy, it is not a primary financial stream. (If you need a recurring or long-term sitter who will build a loving relationship with your pet, please contact me for discount.) As for my background and experience, as a youth, I began fostering animals for the SPCA at 12 years old, and then at 16 began raising and training guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I have been awarded volunteer and foster of the year both by the SPCA. As I got older. I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!
“Lemon had a great time with Angie and the family. Angie was transparent and sent photos to keep us updated throughout the day! We will be using her services again in the future”
About: Hi, I'm Bri and I've grown up with small and large dogs breeds. I love to train, walk, play and understand dogs. I know just how much your companion means to your family! As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m used to maintaining a consistent routine and being responsible for the needs of others, so caring for a pet fits very well into my lifestyle. I’m also able to give pets the extra attention they may need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their home and follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any specific routines or preferences. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day and can give pets plenty of companionship and attention rather than leaving them alone for long periods.
“Maria was fantastic! It was our first time leaving our puppy with somebody and she made us feel so at ease. She took great pictures and our pup came home content and tired from the fun day she had :)”

“I booked with Alberto as a last minute resort and I was very happy to have found such a caring person who truly cares about the fur babies left in his care. My Princess was taken care of and I look forward to using his services again”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Paul A Diggs
I had an incredible experience with this sitter. I needed a quick sitter in 15 minutes, and she was right there to accept my dog. As soon as I arrived, she was very welcoming and friendly. She sent me lots of pictures of my dog while she was there, which was a great touch. There’s no other sitter like this one!
