“What a wonderful experience my dog Izzy had with Marcy! Izzy is a 7 lb Morkie that is terrified of other dogs. The bigger the dog, the louder the dog, the more terrified she is, which makes boarding her difficult. Izzy had a great time playing with Marcy’s 5 lb. Betty Boo, so it was a great social experience for my dog. Marcy also is terrific - I knew my dog was getting the best of care in my absence, and all for a reasonable price. About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!
About: I wake up every early at 4:40 am so if owners need me to walk or run with their dogs early in the morning I can do that. I love dogs and been surrounded by all type of animals my whole life. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I can also do late at night walks if that works for the client as well. I am pretty fit so I can walk or jog a couple miles. I love playing with dogs as well and really enjoy their company. I just want to be able to help owners with their dogs since I am able to that right now. About: I've had dogs my entire life. I have worked at dog boarding facilities and various rescues over the years. I am currently a volunteer with a local rescue in Lakeland. I have three small dogs of my own, who are like my kids. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for most of my life. My first dog was our family’s black Lab, Nya. Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. As Henry got older, he experienced a variety of health issues, so I became very comfortable administering medication, including oral medications and eye drops. I’m also familiar with caring for dogs who require a specific diet and a little extra patience and attention. About: I started caring for pets of my own at 18. I have worked as a vet assistant/tech for over 6 years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and have worked with pets of all ages. My ex-husband and I raised two dogs from puppies and have adopted/fostered many senior pets. One of our dogs is a tripod, one is epileptic, and one is incontinent, so I have special needs experience. I also have experience caring for donkeys, horses, reptiles, chickens, birds, and fish. I pride myself in being kind and patient in nature. It is of the utmost importance that pets in my care feels safe and secure. I work full-time as a vet tech at a vet clinic in Lithia. I just moved to the area from Southern Indiana. I can do visits on my days off or before/after my shifts. My fur babies are more than just out pets; they are our kiddos. Your babies will be treated as such, too! Before I moved, I provided both drop in and boarding services. At this time, I can only do drop ins. I have subscription to Bark Box and a HUGE basket filled to the brim with toys. We keep plenty of blankets and beds around the home. We have a large sectional that we lounge on and a fully fenced in yard. We also have an exercise pen as well as the following sizes of crates on hand: two large, one extra large, and one small. Let us know what arrangements you have in your home so we can best emulate them. We also have baby gates set up to keep pets separate if necessary, and still allows for free roam in a portion of the house.

About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire. I’m currently not working so I am available during select times. I also know what it is like to need a caregiver for your pets while you are away on a business trip or just a quick get away from reality. I live in an apartment complex where everyone keeps to themselves but as for any home I would treat it as if it were my home and how I would want to make sure things are in the right place
